I forgot how fun this episode was. Fun fact: the actress that plays Cordelia, charisma carpenter, was cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers prior to buffy. Poor Amy, Talk about an overbearing stage mom trying to relive her glory days through her child...except literally lol

They were even nicknamed "the Scooby gang"! And Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) and her husband Freddie Prinze, Jr., starred in the 2002 film "Scooby-Doo." They got married later that year.

There are definitely a lot of bad parents in this show. But I really came to like Joyce. Yes, she is amazingly obtuse about her daughter's activities, and sometimes a little annoying for plot purposes, but she is a very loving mother and, I think, develops into a good character.

We definitely had driver's ed in school in my day - which was the 1970s. That's where I learned to drive. The cars didn't have a second steering wheel, but there was a second brake pedal on the passenger side for the instructor to use. I think driver's ed has been cut back or eliminated in many school districts because of the cost.

Season one is definitely very up and down. There are a couple of really good ones, and for the rest, I mostly enjoy the wackiness. And I think it does a good job of setting up the characters, the relationships and the main concepts of the show. But season two 2 gets wild!
