And another hour of sitting through this man's show for the sake of Iolas and the girlie pops. But Goddamn can Hope just stay DEAD? How are they going to do this.

The Callisto/Ares frienemies relationship is so fun to see. But our baby just wants her suffering to end. Which would explain why she'd be listening to Hope's promises. Now that she's taken Solan from Xena and realized her suffering is still there, this is the only other way she's considering.

Hercules is just too good of a guy lol.

Girls, you should have watched "Stranger In A Strange World" before this. It was an episode early in this season of Hercules that explains all about the OTHER world thing and how, in there, everyone is the opposite of what they are in the REAL world. And we got to see how Xena is in that world.

FYI, there was an earlier episode of Hercules called "Stranger in a Strange World," in which there is a parallel universe, where everything is the opposite. Hercules is the evil ruler ("the Sovereign"), Ares is the God of Love, etc. That's where this alternate Hercules comes from. I've watched it because Lucy and Renee are in it.

Context clues: In previous HLJ episodes it was established that the blood of a creature called a golden hind could kill the Gods. There is a HLJ mirror world in the style of the Star Trek mirror universe where everyone is evil. In the Trek episode mirror Spock had the evil goatee which is now media shorthand for this sort of stuff. In the HLJ one, Xena is like a gangster's moll and it's her necklace containing the hand's blood we see. Strife is a minor God who usually served as a comic sidekick to Ares. The same actor Joel Tobeck later played a second God called Deimos with blonde hair who filled the same sort of role later on.

2026-10-30 16:00 I always get sad when I realize that Kevin Smith is no longer with us. He had so much talent. I would have loved to see what else he had in store for us. He would have bee great in other projects like Ash vs Evil Dead and My Life is Murder. Also, I heard that when evil Herc/Kevin Sorbo said "disappointed" he was reading the cue description from the script. Idk how true it is but it is funny either way.

Mad how I’ve been a fan of the Xenaverse for almost 30 years but I’ve only seen like... 30% of it beyond Xena. Strife and Joxer would have made a great comedy duo. They practically have the same personality. Although Strife is far more eccentric than Joxer ever was. I only know him from the episodes of Hercules I bothered to watch. Shame you never see him show up in Xena. I feel like he is a character that would have done well in Xena. But alas Xena wasn’t really a story about the gods. It was a love story. It would have made no sense.

Xena is a - I’m not sure what she is. Gabrielle was the executioner I think. Haven’t seen that episode in a long time.

I feel like that is probably true because I’ve known a few actors to make that mistake now and surprise surprise they’re all arrogant ones.

I always thought they would have had Kevin Smith be the guy in the Tango episode Alexa was flirting with in Season 3 ep 1. They looked a lot alike to me. -H

I always find it funny that Kevin Sorbo was supposed to act disappointed and not say the word. And that they kept it in.
