We had 2 representatives of the students for each classes. And each year, for the elections, you had someone promising less homework for the class =_= Same as the cookies, that never happened

We had a head boy/girl when I was in school too but we didn't have a sixth form. How does it work when you do? Would Charlie be head boy for 2 years? Or would he need to be re elected for year 13? (I know I'm probs overthinking this lol)

There's a new one every year. The way it worked at my school was that the Head Student was a Year 12, who would be elected within the first term (so September/October) and they'd be the Head Student for a year until the next one was elected. It was a Year 12 because Year 13s had to focus on their exams!

A simple way of telling the difference in the UK is a Cookie has doesn't get dunked in tea due to its softer nature, a biscuit does get dunked in tea because it is firmer. On an easier to understand note, a cookie has extra ingredients baked in (toffee/chocolate/caramel chunks/fruit) and is undecorated, whereas a biscuit is generally plain but can be heavily decorated. or have two pressed together with cream in between them.

cookies in the UK are usually the soft/squishy kind (often with chocolate chips) rather than the hard biscuit kind. we call most hard 'cookies' biscuits, so (based off my experience at UK school) they're probably referring to chocolate chip cookies baked fresh in the cafeteria 😋 lots of schools used to have them before they decided they were unhealthy
