Well, I don't really have a page limit - if it goes too much over 400 pages it'll be quite a difficult book to physically read (because it'll be so thick it'll be hard to open and see the middle of the page spreads), but I'm trying not to worry too much. Still too early to tell how many pages the book will be, tbh!

These last few pages have been breaking me ever so slowly...for the first few volumes, we focused more on Nick (coming out) and then later more on Charlie (working so hard after his ED/OCD diagnosis), and then, in volume 5, more on THEM as they progressed (in many ways but primarily sexually) in their relationship...but volume 6 has been a beautiful and emotional combination of THEM as an incredible OUT and AMAZING power couple AND...so very critical to see, on CHARLIE growing as an individual (HEAD BOY!), and NICK needing to (but currently struggling) to grow as an individual (Leeds what?!). Alice keeps laying that foundation that to be able to grow as partners, you also have to do the work to grow as an individual, and that really attuned and loving and partners are able to ebb and flow with who needs more support...and then, now, they show us that whole FOUND FAMILY side...(even if you are related)...where there are those people (OLIVER especially) who make the world a better place just because they are in it and they are SO PURE and HAPPY that YOU are too! I LOVE the bottom panel today (again, I can see this scene happening over and over for MANY, many years to come)...where Michael and Tori hold space to be their authentic selves (and no one is reprimanding Tori to be more "joyful" because she is absorbing and loving every warm moment that is currently happening in her own Tori Spring way), where Ollie can be so fucking excited to see NICK NELSON, where Michael can place every ornament just where HE sees it should go on THEIR shared tree, and Nick and Charlie (truly being NICK AND CHARLIE) can bring the love and security and stability to this moment. They all need each other, and you feel that in that last panel. You feel the JOY, the Heartstopper HOPE, the promise that even when we have issues, the 5 of us, we are GOOD. We are FAMILY who will be there for each other, ALWAYS....I'm sitting here, holding space for each of these amazing characters...and so grateful for what Alice has created. Damn...

I think it definitely gives Oliver a different way to grow up than Charlie and Tori had. Julio and Jane tried their best but Charlie and Tori shine their love on Oliver in a way the parents don't seem to have been able to do for them. Plus they both have wonderful people in their lives with Nick and Michael.
