I have not been looking forward to drawing this scene... Drawing people playing rugby is a CHALLENGE. But yesterday I rough sketched out the entire scene and that was a big relief! Let's get into it...

Ouch, that's a very painful hit there. Rugby is a dangerous game, and does rely on control to mitigate some of the dangers, especially with the somewhat limited range of protective gear Rugby players use. So Nick being in his current headspace does make it more dangerous for himself and for others. I mean he flattened the guy and ended up on his back as well from that attempted tackle. He's going to be kicking himself about that as well, because he knows he's better than this.
