New Tara and Darcy mini-comic (Patreon)

Hey everyone! I am thinking about creating a new Tara and Darcy mini-comic to be included in The Heartstopper Yearbook, and I wanted to open up the floor to you all for any suggestions for topics/themes of the mini-comic. Does anyone have anything in particular you'd really like me to draw featuring them? I'm thinking it would be really nice to keep it in the real world of Heartstopper, so not an AU. Let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions!

I think their first kiss was covered in a mini comic in volume 2 but I'd love to see a date they went on/when they first established the fact that they were gfs?

I would love to see their first date or when Tara came out to her parents. Or maybe something about Darcy’s gender expression? I remember an old q+a drawing with all the characters in dresses but Darcy didn’t feel comfortable wearing one. I would love to learn more about how Darcy sees herself.

I think u need to make some euphoria theme, they are so alike to rue and jules, but!! I think heartstopper is more of an all audiences kind of story.

!!! This would be so adorable in a yearbook setting too, like looking back on their high school years from an older perspective, or even just a “where they are 15 years from now” comic. We’ve seen aged up Charlie and Nick, too, so it’s not too far fetched!! This would be adorable

I’d like to see more about Darcy’s home life. I know it sucks, but I think a lot of kids from rough homes would appreciate being seen in that way… Also, I really loved the moment in HS 4 when Darcy came over when Tara was sick, and hurt/comfort is very much my thing lol, so more of that, in any context 💜

I agree something more about Darcy's home life would be a good option. It might be nice to show the first birthday/Christmas where Darcy was welcomed into Tara's family to have a comparison of rejection and acceptance or even a future event - college etc. Maybe Tara's parents help them move move into school or their first apartment.

Maybe you could do one is the same vein/story as Charlie and Nick’s current plot line? I feel like there aren’t enough focuses on sex and sexuality from the POV of lesbians in modern, much less western Highschool media.

I really love the double date idea people have been having! it would be such a cute mini comic moment that include as many characters as possible. but I also believe tara and Darcy deserve their own little story seperate, so maybe it could be something important, like an important relationship oriented conversation or some issue they overcome together
