Heartstopper Patreon returns early February! (Patreon)

EDIT: I've just made this post public to try and correct some misinformation I've seen spreading. I haven't finished making the comic - I have written the dialogue/scene directions for Volume 5, but I still have to draw it all, which is a very time-consuming process. The end of the comic will not be happening next month - we have a lot of story to get through before then. Thanks for all your lovely comments and I'm glad you're excited about the rest of the story!

Hey gang!

Hope you're all having a lovely January! I'm here to share the news that this Patreon will return in early February. What that means will vary depending on what tier you're pledged to, so read on for more details!

I will be un-pausing this Patreon on January 31st, just in case there are any issues getting it set up again. You could be charged on that date or in the days afterwards.

Full Comic Tier ($5) patrons

I will be resuming drawing new pages and sharing them with you. There will hopefully be new pages most days (but not all - I need days off!). So, back to how things were, for a while at least!

The main change is that unfortunately I am going to have to place a big watermark on all new pages. People have been stealing Patreon-exclusive content and sharing it on social media for quite a while now, which is impossible to stop, so each page will have some big text on it that reads 'Do not share outside of Patreon' (or something similar). Apologies in advance, but unfortunately due to people stealing content from here, this has become unavoidable!

I will begin posting new pages in early February. This might not be the 1st Feb - I don't want to put a strict date on it otherwise it will stress me out! But it will be near the start of the month.

Early Comic Tier ($2.50) patrons

So things are a little different for you guys as there aren't regular online updates at the moment, so I don't have any early updates to share. I highly recommend that you switch to either the $1 tier or the $5 tier, depending on how much content you'd like to receive. Or if you'd like to continue supporting $2.50, that is much appreciated! But just a heads up that there won't be any content specifically for this tier for at least a few months.

Behind-the-scenes Tier ($1) patrons

This tier will return to what it usually is - any behind the scenes work-in-progress content will be shared here, new artwork, and any general updates about Heartstopper.

General update

I'm very nervous to get stuck back into the comic and to start sharing it with so many people again, but I've spent the past few weeks writing the rest of Volume 5, so I know exactly what's going to happen, and that has made me feel a bit better about it! I'm feeling confident about where the story is headed - I think this volume is going to feel distinct and different to the others in a really fun way. I have quite a lot of pressure on me to get this volume done before I have to start working on season 3 of the TV show, but as always I'll just have to do my best and try to take it one day at a time.

My biggest fear is seeing pages leaked online, so this is just another plea from me: please do not share Patreon content on social media. It spoils the comic for everyone else, it's disrespectful to everyone who pays for this content, and it's not the way I want to present the story or my artwork to the readers.
