Yay, week THREE! It's been heartwarming and so easy the last few pages to watch Nick and Charlie just living their lives...in school, activities, together, with friends, and even with interruptions. Watching Charlie react, albeit playfully, to Nick's upcoming departure, reminds me of how much they ground each other in daily living. It's a mutual dependency kind of love, but a healthy one (not a co-dependent one). I do worry about when they get back together afterwards...no matter who you are, it always takes a bit to reconnect and get back on the same page. While they will both be coming back looking for that familiar grounding, they will be approaching from different pages. Charlie will be ready to pick right back up where they left off today(and maybe even the sleepover!) and Nick is going to have had a whole new experience but will hesitate to share all of it with Charlie because he will want to say it just right at just the right time, so he will wait to talk...

Absence makes the heart grow fonder ! Five whole days apart. I can only imagine the text messages that are going to go on between them while apart! When Nick comes back they may attack each other, just in time for their sleepover which I hope takes place at Nick’s for obvious reasons! 🩷🩷 I love how playful they are, this is just been such a joy every day! Alice, your talent never ceases to amaze me. It truly is a special gift, and I am so grateful that you choose to share it with us every day! 🤗

So, they're all jumpy about having the house to themselves anytime they want to work on that 'biology revision', but.... they are pining over having their first sleepover and presumably Sarah will be home #hormonalteenlogic 😂
