I just want to say that I love reading page by page and love going through everyone’s comments. Usually by the time I read my point of view has already been expressed so I don’t comment but I really enjoy reading the discussion. I also thought the watermark was Nick’s 5o’clock shadow for second (I do not mind the watermark at all), I loved the limerick and look forward to more, I can’t wait to hear what Nick says and I really want some fries now!! 100% accurate. Who unlocks the mysteries of life while eating salad?! I hope Nick will share what he is thinking with Tara and Elle. A lot probably seemed “fine”, for a long while. Good at Rugby, well liked, capable student. Then, Thunderbolt! Now some things are ah-mazing, some things are uncertain, some hard. Bet it’s sooo much better than “fine” though.

So, living on campus is not for everyone, and for a lot of people can be overrated (and over-expensive). But I do think it would be a good fit and opportunity for Nick.

In my experience, Italian service station dinners are much better than English ones.

Interesting that going away for uni is just an option for all of them. Even with university being subsidized by the government, I couldn’t afford to go to university/college anywhere except what was available locally so I could still live at home. (And I still had student loans and worked two days per week throughout my four years at school to pay for everything!) Living on campus makes things twice as expensive - I looked into it and felt like it wasn’t even an option haha. I’m curious what the system is like in England and how affordable/accessible it is.

In the UK you only start paying back your student loan once you earn so much a year if you fall under that threshold you don't pay anything. Also, if you still haven't paid it off by the time you die the loan dies with you (i think depending on circumstances) and gets erased no one needs to pay it back for you

Nick told Charlie earlier that he was so used to denying aspects of his personality that he put on a mask when talking to other people. He has the mask on now, but when it comes off, he might be unloading quite a lot of his interior dialogues.
