I understand nick so much. I'm moving to a different country for uni. I'm looking forward to it but moving away from everything I know will be so hard. Leaving my mum at home alone, being far away from everything I know and grew up with. If I could I would stay in my town with everything I know. And I "just" have my mum I leave here. My friends moved away already. But I can't imagine how hard it will be for Nick to move away from Charlie on top of that

It must be so hard for Nick. He wants to be close to Charlie as he’s worried about him relapsing and also no doubt worried about their relationship if they’re apart. He doesn’t have too many close friends. But Charlie is stronger than he thinks and so is Nick. It’s hard though and he’ll have the thought (and been told) that they’re too young to settle down together and that they need to split up so they can both enjoy Uni life etc

It’s crazy how Nick being alone is triggering my anxiety. The feeling of being alone while needing to be alone but wanting to reach out to someone before you start crying.
