It’s interesting that Nick is bringing up how Charlie could go to Oxford, after his conversation with Tara and Elle earlier that day. Seems like maaaaaybe they haven’t talked about uni plans beyond where Nick is thinking of going next year. Which doesn’t surprise me, seeing how scared they’ve both been of just the topic of next year - beyond that is even scarier! But it’s good that the girls reminded Nick that Charlie’s plans are a factor too. And I get the feeling Nick wouldn’t want Charlie to pick a university just to be close to him - so maybe Nick will be able to start thinking more about what he himself needs out of a university experience beyond “close to mum and Charlie.”
