I’ve been deployed to the Middle East and Romania before. It’s really not that bad now that we’ve go the tech and means to meet up. Back in the day, after I came back from my first long range deployment when my husband and I were married for a year, it felt like a long weekend. But, then again, we went through a rollercoaster to just get married, so deployment was a breeze. They’ll figure it out.
