I agree with Elle and I also see things from a slightly altered perspective. Yes, Nick needs to think about his future and do what’s best for him. But Charlie is also a huge part of nicks future (at least what we’ve come to gather by the N&C novel) and long distance can totally dampen a relationship. Tough, tough decisions to be made, sweet Nick. These conversations need to be had and Alice is doing it in such a kind and thoughtful way. Sometimes tough love is what’s best for certain situations. I hope Nick will feel more comfortable opening up to Elle and Tara in the future. He deserves that, so much.
