This is why heartstopper saved me, it truly shows the downsides of co-dependency w/out the relationship being completely toxic or untoxic, everyone is just human, seeing Nick navigate his tendency towards codependency for Charlie’s sake is so so so important and you’re the only one showing it, it is how heartstopper saved me in the first place ❤️

This was me when I first got to college without my partner 🥺 In my video class we had to make a “self portrait video” and mine was literally about how my identity was “me & my partner” and I felt like nothing with him out of the picture. It really is such a scary feeling (I was also one year older like nick, too!) Years later we’re married and are solidly our own people, but we’re still close! Anyway this page hits home for me so hard, I feel so much for poor nick 😭 and it’s so important he’s talking about it omg💙
