I honestly don't think that will happen; there's just no way. I get what you're thinking, but this is a totally different situation than choosing to go away for college/university. Tara knows how important this is to Charlie and Nick, and wouldn't interfere in that way.

Yeah, actively interfering to stop your friend from being there to support his boyfriend during a performance that he’s nervous for (which is something that’s a big leap for him) is not helpful, nor would it even prove a point. It would just be manipulative, for no good reason. There’s no way. “Maybe it’s time to figure out who you are without Charlie too” =/= “You don’t need to be there for Charlie when something is important to him.”
