This is the final page of chapter 7, and the final page of the Volume 5 book!

Heartstopper is not finished - there will be one final book, Volume 6, which will contain two more chapters: chapter 8 and an epilogue.

I haven’t begun to plan or write Volume 6, so the Patreon will now go on hiatus and I will stop making pages. 

Thank you all so so much for being here and for your support! Making a page almost every day is incredibly exhausting but your enthusiasm and encouragement really keeps me going through it all. I always love to read your analyses of each page. I think I would find it really difficult to keep up with making pages every day if I didn't have this Patreon - sharing the story here and hearing your joyful responses gives me so much energy and determination!

Is Heartstopper finished?

No, Heartstopper is not finished - there will be one final book, Volume 6, which will contain two more chapters: chapter 8 and an epilogue.

What happens to the Heartstopper Patreon now?

The Patreon will also go ‘on pause’ as of tomorrow (16th September), meaning nobody will be charged any money until I return. I don’t know when I will be able to return - sometime in 2024!

What does a 'pause' mean on Patreon?

It means that nobody will be charged any money and I will not be uploading any content. It also means that nobody will be able to join the Patreon as a new member, so if you decide to leave, you will not be able to rejoin until I 'unpause' the Patreon and resume uploading next year.

Will I be charged money while you're not uploading content to Patreon?

No.

When will you start making Heartstopper pages again?

I don't know exactly! I haven't begun to plan or write chapter 8 and I don't really know what will happen in it. I will return to making pages sometime in 2024 but I will need time to focus on the TV show, time to rest, and time to plan and write the final volume, so I have no idea exactly when I will return.

What will happen with the regular webcomic updates on Tumblr/Tapas/Webtoon?

I will continue uploading updates as usual until chapter 7/Volume 5 has completed. Then I will go on hiatus on those websites too.
