This Patreon is going on pause! (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

This Patreon is going on pause, meaning that I will not be uploading anything and you will not be charged any money from this point onwards. This is because I've finished creating the main comic pages for Heartstopper Volume 5, and I am therefore no longer able to upload pages to the Full Comic Tier.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

Is Heartstopper finished?

No, Heartstopper is not finished - there will be one final book, Volume 6, which will contain two more chapters: chapter 8 and an epilogue.

What happens to the Heartstopper Patreon now?

The Patreon will also go ‘on pause’ as of today (16th September), meaning nobody will be charged any money until I return. I don’t know when I will be able to return - sometime in 2024!

What does a 'pause' mean on Patreon?

It means that nobody will be charged any money and I will not be uploading any content. It also means that nobody will be able to join the Patreon as a new member, so if you decide to leave, you will not be able to rejoin until I 'unpause' the Patreon and resume uploading next year.

Will I be charged money while you're not uploading content to Patreon?

No.

When will you start making Heartstopper pages again?

I don't know exactly! I haven't begun to plan or write chapter 8 and I don't really know what will happen in it. I will return to making pages sometime in 2024 but I will need time to focus on the TV show, time to rest, and time to plan and write the final volume, so I have no idea exactly when I will return.

What will happen with the regular webcomic updates on Tumblr/Tapas/Webtoon?

I will continue uploading updates as usual until chapter 7/Volume 5 has completed. Then I will go on hiatus on those websites too.

I would still like to support you! Can I opt in to continue paying?

I really really appreciate your kindness and support, but unfortunately this is not possible on Patreon. The Patreon has to pause for everyone or no one.
