This week, the incomparable Anna Bosnick joins us in watching Ray Comfort berate college students for thinking women should have bodily autonomy.

Comments

Alliterated Liberated Lilith

This was my first ever episode…. I have never been in a car accident (28yrs)…. Then Anna yells “YOU SEE THIS BLOODY JELLY BEAN, RAY!!!!” I’m guessing that this moment, laughing at an aborted jelly bean and almost dying, is not a time Jesus would take the wheel. 🙄 typical (All good but had to pull over and cry laugh for a while)

Pandora

Yay Anna!

Max

Yay. Eli's greatest character

Gold

On behalf of New Zealand I would like to apologise to the world for Ray Comfort.

CarrieBoo

Anna is a treasure.

Taru Tikkanen

I can accept you apology on behalf of Finland, can't vouch for the rest.

Tove

Look at it this way: if not for Ray Comfort, Eli would be licking random, innocent strangers. NZ kinda took one for the team.

Patrick Jackson

I would pay ungodly amounts of money to see the "Ray Comfort: Wereatheist" movie! Just take it all!

Andre Hebert

“The traditional 3-year anniversary gift is leather or a Ray Comfort movie which is symbolic of the marriage reaching a stage of flexible durability.”

Gold

And, in a way I guess, Ray took one for the team on behalf of NZ.

Keishu Asada

Wait, what happened to Patreon's MP3 download?

Keishu Asada

I can't download the episode anymore.

Bill Garthright

Yeah, I'm wondering what happened to the mp3 download, too. That's how I listen to these.

Peter Kyrouac

I'm hoping that the MP3 download being down is just temporary. I like to listen to these on non-internet media players.

VermanShane

Yeah no download link like many are saying. Pretty big issue for me as well as I can't really listen to them without it.

Andrew Lindsay

Please, Australia has a lot of issues with crap evangelicals without blaming us for Ray.

Justin Campbell

Anna brings such a great energy to show. Love her! I saw 7 Reasons on YouTube and I think the GAM review could have been twice as long, and they still wouldn't have been able to cover everything that was wrong with this movie. But I don't know what's scarier... the movie, or all of the public comments following the movie.

Maksym Broma

Why can`t I download this episode?

Carlos Marchi

Eli. I know you're woke and all... But do not dare to criticize the Google images of adoption (white parent and a black child). In my country, white children have an easier time being adopted. Black kids may be adopted as babies. Past that, it's more probable for them to be raised inside an orphanage their whole damn life... Racism is a god-damned real issue when adopting. And any way to normalize the fact that black children deserve to be adopted and loved is welcome. Even if it's images showing happy multiracial adoptive families.

Mike Ulm

Can't download it here or on iTunes. Wonder what's up?

Mark H

Great show folks! Special thanks to Anna for her contribution this week—fantastic job!

Mark H

We should really just blame Great Britain for evangelicals, shouldn’t we? If they hadn’t exported them, we would all have to deal with them.

GodAwful

Hey everyone, Tim here. Everything looks normal and works for me on both Patreon and iTunes, so I'm not (yet) sure of what the problem is. Patreon is notoriously fussy. Sometimes it as simple as logging out all the way and signing back in. I the mean time, still looking...

Bill Garthright

FYI, I tried logging out and back in again. Still no mp3 file I can download.

tronvillain

Someone on the Flophouse page said that they've disabled downloads from the website. I got this just fine from the RSS feed.

Keishu Asada

I've logged in from two different computers and have gotten the same thing. There used to be an option to directly download the mp3 file but it's just gone.

Tim, Yes that Tim - the social media guy

To all: This looks like something that Patreon has changed as it is impacting episodes from various other podcasts, not just PiaT. We haven’t changed anything. I can only recommend that you contact Patreon support. We’re sorry we cannot fix this issue. ~Tim

Keishu Asada

I just found out why. Patreon Support tweeted that desktops can no longer download audio files to "make exclusive content more secure". They imply that they are only accessible on mobile via app. Well that just breaks Patreon for me. Is there any way I can support you guys outside of Patreon and still get the bonus content?

Keishu Asada

I've never used RSS before but I've just tried it ... still can't download to desktop.

Tim, Yes that Tim - the social media guy

I wish there was - maybe down the road. Since this is the product we’re kind of married to, we don’t have an alternative for you at this point in time. Sorry!

Earl Warren

"third trimester of..." is the best hard sell yet. sorry noah, you can never retire this bit.

VermanShane

I don't own a phone, and no internet where I listen to all my patreon content, so I guess this is the end of Patreon for me.

tronvillain

Yeah, I put in feedback to Patreon.

tronvillain

Make sure that you tell Patreon why, at the very least.

tronvillain

You might need some kind of desktop RSS reader. I've never tried it.

VermanShane

I have let them know, and waiting for a little while before I do close my account. Hoping they'll change it back. I really don't want to stop supporting PIAT and the others.

GodAwful

If you wish to download the podcast from Patreon directly to a computer, you may have noticed that Patreon removed the link. It's my understanding this does not affect mobile app users, just desktop based users. Anyway, until (or if) this is resolved, we'll drop the same link to "We Transfer" each week. You should be able to get the download at this link, but just like all Patreon episodes, this is for you, not general public access, so please do not share the link. I'll watch this status for awhile to make sure there are no more reported problem. ~Tim LINK to GAM 208 7 Reasons: https://we.tl/t-ZphTeQxHVw

Tim, Yes that Tim - the social media guy

From Patreon Support: We've taken your feedback into consideration and have decided to roll back this change, making the download links available again, and reconsider how we can better meet the needs of creators and patrons for listening to and downloading audio. We appreciate your feedback!

Gold

Hmm... This one worked for me on mobile via Beyondpod. It's a podcaster so, but not theirs.

Gold

I *may* have gotten in on the download just before this kicked in though. I did wake up this morning to a new Citation Needed though, so I'm guessing the feed works for mobile apps rather than just *their* mobile app.

Gold

Also, Keishu! Hey dude! How've you been? :)

Michelle C

My favorite guest host and my favorite best worst “movie” creator ❤️

Keishu Asada

Hey man! I'm pretty good. Spend as much time underwater as I can.
