Some time ago Noah described a Christian, on one of his diatribes, as a "Christ tard." I wrote him a somewhat angry email telling him not to use that kind of language. Understandably, his response was angry and defensive. Sadly our correspondence ended there. I'd like to request a public acknowledgment that using "tard" as a suffix to insult people is hurtful. There are many people who try to defend this, and I don't want to see such a great voice in atheism lead more people to believe it is.
