Question for everybody: I read a dust-up on Twitter last week (I know, a very promising way to start off a question!), coinciding with the release of the results of the American Atheists survey, over whether or not atheists should use the language of "coming out" as atheists. A few LGBT folks whose opinions I respect argued that it was appropriation. While I've never thought of my atheism in these terms, I can understand how it would resonate for those who came from highly religious families and communities and experienced significant blowback for becoming atheists. Then again, I am a mostly straight, cis person. What are your thoughts?

How does one foster atheism or just non-theist thought for the younger generation when they're surrounded by theists, especially theists who are actively trying to promote their ideology in them? My sister's kids are smart and curious and know I'm an atheist and what that means, but they're surrounded by theists, especially their grandmothers who push Christianity like it's coke. I want to help them think outside religion, but I'm not sure exactly how besides being open to questions and to point out that there are other options and my own lack of faith. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Question for AMA: What is the more enjoyable of a good bad movie is it the movie itself or the expectation of sharing the experience of the movie with other people? If you had the chance to watch a movie that was said to be the best worst movie ever made. However, to see the movie, you had to sign an NDA, which compelled you to never speak of this movie to anyone ever. Would you still go to see the movie?
