On this week's episode, Thomas Smith joins us to discuss the movie that launched Alex Kendrick's career and how much he regrets agreeing to do that.

Comments

Religion *is* Politics

Really enjoyed Thomas’ concise epiphany that Christianity is perpetuated by father-son gaslighting.

Elvis Manson

Alex Kendrick should refund the $2.99 he overcharged me to watch his movie.

Someday Sera

Actually, Akira and big trouble in little China released within two years of each other, July of 88 and 86 respectively

The Real Moorey

Fantastic! I loved this movie and I have no idea why. Maybe it’s after the horror of Plandemic 2. You guys didn’t notice the kid ate Froot Loops (or American equivalent) for every meal? He’s 6 weeks from used car salesman fighting weight. Also, Eli, Tinnitus, not Tintinitus. Can’t believe Noah let that slip. Great episode, Thomas fantastic as always.

The Real Moorey

Bad free version on DailyMotion. No worse than proper copy I suspect.

Mister CPU

What does it mean if I get all three large man references?

CaitTheWolfe

"Ethical Capitalism" Damn you guys come up with some out there jokes.

Lethal Wheat Gluten

Being the same age as Thomas, the two large guys on motorcycles in Guinness records book is something I haven't thought of in 2 decades.

Laura Lusby

I legit thought this was about fishing. Isn’t a “flywheel” part of a fishing rod? No?
