Here's a creepy thing that I have gotten from being a Asian comic fan that whole calling someone that's not exactly your boyfriend or girlfriend big brother or big sister is actually a thing several cultures. that's kind of normal as a honorific. Looked at the movie on Imdb, only two reviews, one from a listener here who hasn't seen the film, another from someone who used to be in the cult and confirms these things happen! Now it's awful, but thinking about it, if in 20yrs time, something has happened to my wife and I'm single in my 60's and a friend is trying to set me up with a woman half my age (Heath, that's in their 30's so don't you get all excited 😜) I'm not sure I could say no 😮. But sadly /luckily I don't know any bat-shit crazy cults for this to happen with, but a nice normal person 🤔
