Can't wait to listen to this.

Andy Gonzalez

I'm so happy to have this early. Listening to it is a great way to end the day.

Magnus the Great Dane

Watched the movie last night and am now starting this. Already was looking forward to it then I see that T&C are guesting. Extra ready for it now.

AK

Now I want an Accountant spinoff cinematic universe 🙏

Douglas

Some birthday present. Are you planning to watch 'Step Sisters in Heat' the next time Heath's not around?

Nicolette

William Fichtner has the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen. He is genuinely the best part of this movie

Chris

More Nic Cage impressions are always appreciated.

For what it's worth, Google Translate can't handle Latin at all. It generates word salad in both directions.

Mobius Rex

The Latin was correct. "Deus velox nex," doesn't translate smoothly into English. Literally, it's, "the god/quick death," with both "quick" and "god" describing "death" at the same time. You can paraphrase however you like. Personally, I like God Insta-Killer.

Mariusz 'Kot' Butrykowski

It can handle properly spelled latin with an accurate syntax. When you make typos or put the words in the wrong order it will crap out.

Mariusz 'Kot' Butrykowski

It should be "Velocior nex deus" in that case if I remember my latin correctly (and I usually do, our teacher was a very efficient monster when it came to teaching us the rules).

Mobius Rex

You'd be right for a literal translation of killer. Killer sounds better in an approximate translation, so I subbed it for death. "The Quick God Death" just doesn't have a good ring to it, you know?

Atheistic Snail

Saw that. It is amazing. LMSO that is a wonderful bad movie

Hard in Hightown

Such great group chemistry. It’s extra comforting during social distancing ❤️

Julie Wine&Reason

I had blocked from my mind this dark, dank, garbage pile of a movie until y'all's vivid description and hilarious critique brought the memory screaming back in surround sound and would be 3-D. Y'all were hilarious, but I watched this movie years ago with my partner. That's just time I'll never get back.

CarrieBoo

I actually paused this, went to watch Drive Angry in all its shithouse glory and then finished the podcast. Worth it. So worth it. This is now one of my new faves.

Dale Earnest

That "tommy shotgun" is a Saiga-12. Its an ak47 chambered in 12 gauge.

Wolfguard94

Have you guys ever considered reviewing AVP 2 for the secular special episode?

Kurt Montandon

Why? They only do BAD movies here, and that one was a brilliant parody.

david moreland

Due to an internet outage I have now been forced to pick up my copy of Con Air and watch Nicolas Cage kick ass... and I blame you!!!

david moreland

Yep just the perfect level of over the top absurd, just as I remembered it right up to the out of no where death of the villain and dare I say it Cage was the heart and soul of the whole thing.

david moreland

May be the whiskey talking though...

Iheart Dogs

I love how Heath laughs! I miss Noah but having Heath as the host was fantastic. His laugh is so contagious that I end up laughing so hard tears run down my face. Plus his comic timing with a well placed succinct insert is perfection.

Joey Roberson-Kitzman

So I gotta tell you guys... Ernest Goes to Africa is a real thing.
