This week, we introduce Marsh to Matt Powell. Plus, the return of Marsh's southern accent. Oh, and you get ten plus minutes of outtakes that the regular release won't have.

that 9 fingered lesbian

Every time Noah references Hitchhiker's Guide, I fall in love with these shows a little more.

Marsh's hearty Yeehaw is now my ringtone.

I demand, DEMAND! a whole podcast with Marsh's southern accent. I need this in my life.

I feel like it's important for me to note that I wrote this comment before I got to the post episode extra audio and they offered an entire episode of it... I wrote it 5 seconds after I heard it the first time. I NEED IT :D

Omg will someone please send Matt Powell the website for the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus. I’m fairly certain he will think it’s real.

Wow! Powell is incredible. There might be a entire bingo card just for him.

I’ve been whining for the last 8 episodes that the movies weren’t available free here in Australia. 20 minutes into this, and I’m wishing this one wasn’t either 😩

Eli: That's a nice grill. I bet it does propane and gas. Should we tell him?

A little bit of flood math I think you missed: Commonly held to cover the tallest mountains (Everest @ 8,800m) and rained for 40 days and nights (960 hrs). 8800/960 = 9.1 meters/hour. Meteorology usually lists rainfall greater than 0.1 m/hr as “extreme”. Thus the rain would have been 91 time greater than an extreme rainfall. Moving on, this means that every 1 square meter patch of ground would receive 9,072 kg/hr of water (9.1 m3 * 997 kg/m3), or 2.53 kg/second. A DC-10 water bomber can drop 45,000 kg of water in 8 seconds over an area of 91m x 1,609m. Sorry, I couldn’t find the drop rate for anything else. This is 5,625 kg/s over an area of 147,419 square meters, which is 0.038 kg/s for every square meter of ground. Have you ever seen a video of what a water bomber does to a car? Multiply that by 66.5 times. And a wooden boat was supposed to survive that pounding?

I had a lot of fun with the dissection of the statement by that random child. It honestly reminded me of the Escher sentence: "Many more people have been to Russia than I have." Too often in these movies, especially from Powell, I hear rambling statements that literally cannot be parsed.

Lethal Wheat Gluten

Listened to this many times; doesn't get old. Maybe I have a problem--Powell on the other hand, Woof!

The conflict between octopuses and squids...do the maybe think Splatoon is based on a real war?

me fromt he future to Marsh. there are no "underwater dinosaurs" there is a whole slew of various marine reptiles from the mezosoic, including turtles, crocodiles, icthyosaurs, pliosaurs, plesiosaurs and Mosasaurs ( acctual giant marine lizard, related to varanids) but no acctual Dinosaur. one would think a pedant like Noah would have catched that. Also, to Heath if they read this. there are no Pterodactyls, they are Pterosaurs, there is a genus named Pterodactylus, but that is not a catch all for all Pterosaurs. Also, the Chicken is not a direct descendent of the Tyrannosaurus rex. T.rex is related to modern birds as in that they are tetunuran theropod dinosaurs. Birds are Maniraptoran theropod dinosaurs.
