This month we wanna do the world of Marky mark's worst...hit us with your suggestions like your commiting a largely unpunished hate crime which upon further reflection is something we as a society should have taken more seriouslyp.s. a reminder that it's really hard to do good episodes on bad comedies ;)

Comments

Troublemaker Jake

The Big Hit, bonus it also has Lou Diamond Phillips & Antonio Sabato Jr.

Bob Brown

I love the Big Hit for some reason even though I know it is terrible. You must do it.

MouthStache

Gotta be Planet of the Apes.

Stuart

Max Payne guys... c’mon!

Mobius Rex

Fear. Stalker Marky Mark.

Stakes so low, they're ground beef

I know it's hard to do good episodes on bad comedies, but if you do Daddy's Home 2, you can double dip on the hate crimes, since Mel Gibson is also in it!

Mark H

I’m so excited! I can’t contribute many ideas, because I fundamental hate Mark Walberg and avoid his movies whoever possible, but I’m INTO THIS!!

Claus Hinze

You know they already did that though?

Laura Lusby

He’s been in three remakes. Planet of the Apes, The Italian Job, and The Truth About Charlie (which is a rip off of “Charade”). Any of those are great to make fun of, in my book

Nic

I know this probably won't happen and in all honesty probably shouldn't but if you do Patriots day it will be hilarious watching Eli trying to walk a fine line between his disdain for Boston and his own limits on how dark he will make his comedy. P. S. don't worry guys any episode with Eli's marky mark voice will be amazing

Meghan Baldwin

Planet of the Apes or Fear. They're both so bad it's hard to pick which is the worst!!

Will

I mean, Ted is ripe for the PIAT treatment. But I vote Boogie Nights. Good movie but I just need the GAM commentary to make my life complete.

Breeding McNery

oh you messed up. he has a new movie out in early September. Pain & Gain seems like it would be terrible.

steven burritt

from what i remember the "big hit" was real bad or the "planet of apes" remake.

tronvillain

It's like everyone here has forgotten that Max Payne exists—it has sixteen percent of on Rotten Tomatoes. Or, have And for another Transformers episode.

tronvillain

The Big Hit is surprisingly fun.

Iheart Dogs

Planet of the Apes, please

Xeciash Vega

Max Payne or 2 Guns Both trash that people don't bring up enough

You can just think of me as That One Guy

Shooter, perhaps with Michael Marshall or Aaron from Philosophers In Space guesting? An absurdly hypercompetent conspiracy defeated by an absurdly paranoid designated hero with the absurd name of Bob Lee Swagger? The film isn't badly made, but the plot is several different flavours of cuckoo for cocoa-puffs.

MutatedWisdom

+1 Max Payne. Count on video game movies to suck!

Soft Snackies for Quiet Breakies

I'll put forward The Lovely Bones. The movie itself isn't that bad, but there are some cinematography decisions that are downright jarring, bizarre acting decisions, and a depiction of Heaven that makes no sense whatsoever.

Mirjam Dornauer

Pain & gain. Because nothing is funnier (?) than a comedy about abduction, torture, and multiple murders.

Lizard Brain

Max Payne or Planet if the Apes. You already did The Happening.

tronvillain

As they say, hard to do an episode on a comedy.

Danica

Planet of the Apes (2001)! There’s just so much mockery-deserving material to work with there.

Arthur Ruckle

The Substitute. Made for TV, 1993, what else do you need to know?

Thomas Clerkin

Max Payne. Although you have already done The Happening, it is such a terrible movie that you could do it again with all new fresh commentary it’s that bad.

Come to Minnesota we have weed.

The Marky Mark Workout (1993) all the cring of a 90's Workout video combind wthe the cringe of "im the cool guy" and plenty of Boston accent

Trish Roper

HAS to be planet of the apes.

Dreamcrusher

Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014). It's a twofer, Marky Mark and Micheal Bay. I also saw Spencer: Confidential (2020) on Netflix recently and it is a painfully stupid movie.

Amy Baloo

Four Brothers or Deepwater Horizon

Stakes so low, they're ground beef

My vice principal from high school actually opened for Markie Mark and the Funky Bunch one time. He also opened for Tupac. The 90s were weird.

Jim

Planet of the apes all the way. I feel like ripping into bad Tim Burton is something you guys haven’t had a chance to explore yet, but it’s a pretty rich vein

B. King

Max Payne. Amazing game destroyed with his casting as the lead for the movie adaptation. Bonus: terrible Mila Kunis as well.

Jonathan Renderos

Max Payne and Planet of the Apes are two strong contenders. I'm fine with you guys doing either or

Hail Stan

It's terrible, but in a very self-aware way. It knew it was shit, and leaned into it. Gotta admire that, at least.

Niamh Coghlan

Max Payne. It has it all: - Based on a video game - Chemistry with Mila Kunis that could legally be considered a bioweapon. - A soundtrack that might as well have been played by children who had never seen a musical instrument before. - A story that sucks like a Hoover.

How is this even a question? Entourage. A film about how toxic masculinity is aspirational. Mark Kermode’s review of the film for his radio one show is one of the greatest film reviews I have ever heard. He just can’t control his anger, not just at the film itself, but at the idea that people are supposed to like the characters.

LeeDassin

That’s just cruel…. You have my vote

Dreamcrusher

Great idea! The guys can torture Andrew and his love for fictional robots at the same time!

Amanda

Planet of the Apes is bewilderingly stupid. I mean, that science fiction trope of having 2 big moons in the sky IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE SET ON EARTH, YOU IDIOTS. Marky is just the icing on the cake of this profoundly stupid movie

Christopher Brian

Shooter. It’s dumb and you get to see Mahkey Mahk kick some ass (and maybe kill a Chinese guy? Can’t remember…)

john Morrow

Bring Andrew on for one of his transformers movies

john Morrow

I take it all back: Mile 22!

Canadiankev

Agreed on Spencer Confidential. Abysmal

FruitbatStudios

Daddy's Home (and its sequel) looked fucking terrible.

The Real Moorey

I will up my Patreon if Eli stays in MM character for the whole episode. Who is with me?

Nemoutopian

IMDB says that he considers The Truth About Charlie to be his worst film.

The Godless Trucker & his trusty dog Loki

For now, I say Planet of the Apes. A lot say Max Payne, but it's so long ago I don't remember if I hated it. I hate Mark, But love Mila Kunis. I have to watch it again to say if it's worse than the Apes.

The Godless Trucker & his trusty dog Loki

Anyone know where Max Payne streams free? I'm not paying for that shit just to decide if it worse than the Apes lol. I can't find it on my streaming sites.

Michael Colon

Max Fucking Payne Was there a reason to add a supernatural aspect to the story? Does the movie answer this question? Nnnnyeeo...

Michael Colon

Entourage is another good choice. I was gonna disagree because he's just a cameo as himself in the movie. But he's a producer of the series. So it's pretty much like his thing.

Cole

Fear

I’mNotSayingThat

I was disappointed to learn that one was copied almost line-for-line from a Chinese film.

Erik

Max Payne looks like it would be "fun" to critique. There is also the trope-heavy, I'm retired but have to do one more job films, Contraband and Shooter. But, I'm REALLY on board for Max Payne!

Chris W

Well you've done The Happening and Transformers: The Last Knight so presumably Max Payne? I've never seen it but it's score is really low. Unless you did Transformers 4

Mr Pudifoot

I know it is way to late to make a suggestion, but Infinite just came out. The first scene with Marky Mark is him sitting straight up from a nightmare.

Michael Colon

"Infinite" it just released to Paramount+.

Kidda Sweet

I don't have a suggestion (You already did The Happening), but I did read this thread... which led to checking Marky's imdb page... which left me with no hope for humanity

Kee

I just rewatched TED and it’s pretty fucking problematic…
