to celebrate the release of the new film we wanna dive back into the FF franchise for this month's bonus. Which one do you want us to do? An old one? The new one? One of the ones in the middle? Let us know below

Comments

Chris

2 Fast and 2 Furious is in need of a good riffing.

Evan McDonell

It’s gotta be Tokyo Drift for sure…

TBoneSF

Which one is "Fast and Furious: Fuck Physics!"?

GeekOfDoom

All of them! 9 hour episode! Actual answer, the one where they drag the bank vault through the streets.

Zane Olson

First of all every single Fast and Furious movie is amazing, second you guys should review Tokyo Drift...

Mr Pudifoot

The last one is amazing. They literally go to space!

El Oso Café

Tokyo Drift seems appropriate

Mark H

Meh. If you really want to. I’d say review one with Paul Walker. He’s still weirdly treated like some hero, but he died in a fiery car crash because he was a reckless asshole.

Windy City Roger

F9 is the most stupidly action level of all the movies in the series, so please do that one. F9 is excellent because it is clear the script had a bunch of "[McGuffin] will solve this" in draft 1. Writers didn't want to figure it out & decided to just use the same thing for all those placeholders, finally throwing the writer a bone who'd been pitching magnets since F5

Don Toovey

Do a 5 minute discussion of each one

Don Toovey

More fast more ridiculous

Pezski

Am I alone in never having watched any F&F movie?

candice cole

Actually I’m lying I saw Hobbes and Shaw with a friend. That counts right?

Pezski

I believe so. I'm actually considering shotgunning the lot, just to catch up... (% possibility low)

Pezski

I mean "Fast & furious #" or "Baby Driver"? No contest.

Pezski

Because life is too short for shit movies - unless we pay you for your pain!

mnstr0

Tokyo Drift. White southern redneck teaches born and raised Japanese drift racers a thing or two about drifting somehow.

Stansky

I’m gonna say we totally subvert the fast and furious idea and go with John Ford’s Grapes of Wrath (1940). It’s a depression era family’s agonizingly slow plod across the country in an old jalopy, and it’s what I need!

Sean Geist

Do Smokey and the Bandit!

Viridian-Flow

I remember seeing one of these in the cinema (I think it was Tokyo drift?) The only movie I've ever been to where people in the audience stood up and cheered/clapped at the movie and shouted suggestions to the characters about what they should do. I honestly couldn't tell if they thought the characters could hear them...

B. King

F9 baby! You have to sit through that shit, so we don't have to.

Amanda

I think I saw the second one, they are really not my thing, but because of this franchise, I work at the busiest cinema in Australia, so GO F&F! I say. I know I will have a good laugh, no matter which one you choose

Xeciash Vega

This is tough because they are mostly pretty great... Do Fate of the Furious, please tell us what a Cuban mile is.

JP Salentine

Have not revisited the Fast Series in years but I the only one I thought/remember as "The Good One" was Fast Five... I would love it if you could change my mind ☺️

The DinosaurDave

Whats the one where vinny-d has ahead on crash to save someone from a tank... or something... its where they airdrop cars and one lands in a tree or something... idk which one that is but it was nonsense of the highest order

Christopher Arguin

Do that one... I don't remember the name of it, but like they did this thing with the cars really fast, like *woosh*, and this guy looked all smug and then boom! Surprise twist!

James Miller

I reject the premise that they belong in a GAM episode. I will defend the series any day of the week. Except Hobbs and Shaw, fuck that movie.

Kurt Montandon

I got almost 3/4 of they way into Hobbs and Shaw and realized I just didn't care about or was entertained by anything that was going on, and hadn't for a while. Probably the latest into a movie I've ever stopped and not gone back.

Christopher Brian

Personally, I vote Tokyo Drift, but 2Fast is a bad good movie. Either would be great.

Shane

Do we have to? They all as so lame.

Sarvis

Honestly, I'd love to see you go back to the original. I'm sure there's plenty to mock.

Ilan Woll

I know it’s not FF, but Death Race 2000?

CarrieBoo

FAST 5! FAST 5! OMG PLEASE FAST 5!

Mr Pudifoot

Redline (2007) is not a f&f movie, but is amazingly bad and has a great backstory. The movie was made with money made from subprime loans, also eddie grffin destroyed a $1.5 million Enzo promoting this movie.

Emeradis

Can't you just do a retrospective on the whole series?

Michelle C

I'm torn. I kind of want you to do the new one, but I haven't seen it myself yet. It's hard to go wrong here though, whatever you choose.

Simmo

Ok. Just watched FF9 and can confirm its everything you want it to be. Family. Space. Magnets. Macguffin. Not sold? How about Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell and Charlie Theron?

Julie Wine&Reason

Not an FF recommendation, but I'd love to hear y'all rip Evil, series on Netflix, a new one. It has excellent actors, excellent cinematography, and EVEN good writing. With all of that, still God Awful Christian fiction.

Medikon 7

So I see I'm in the minority but it's definitely F&F: Tokyo Drift, for me. Eli must - must, I say! - do the whole episode in Lucas Black Alabamese. Dreeee-uft!.

S Ramsay

Fast Five: The Rock AND Wonder Woman?! It’s a must.

MutatedWisdom

I want F&F9, doing the new one just makes sense. Plus, PZ Myers himself posted about seeing it the other day and IT. SOUNDS. RIDICULOUSLYBAD!!!!!

Jim

You guys always have a fun different energy when you see the movie in theaters so I vote the new one

Karaoke LEGEND Cosmo Blues

I don’t really feel qualified to choose since I’ve never seen more than a few min of ANY of the movies, but my “gun-to-my-head-Sophie’s-choice-proof-of-life-hostage-video choice would be the most recent because “more ‘SPLOSIONS!!”😛😛😛

HidariMak

F9. From what I've heard, they've really upped the Christianity on this one, and it follows the sequels formula about being even dumber than the previous ones.

Cassie

Tokyo Drift, dear lord, Tokyo Drift!!!

CarrieBoo

F5. I lose it at the safe. It's so hilarious

CarrieBoo

I love it so much. The hilarity. 🤣
