This week, we kick off Mormon Movie Month (officially) by welcoming Shannon Grover and Bryce Blankenagel from the Glassbox Podcast and Naked Mormonism for an extra beefy review of "The Work and the Glory." It's the story of .... pretty much nothing. But it's long.

Man, Blake wants to fuck Heath more than I do.

Fluidkaos

I was gonna say something similar, maybe subtler... like something about pulling sticks. It just wasn't cumming at me hard enough.

Stephanie Groves

I just went to Amazon to watch this and there are three of them! This is a trilogy??? 🤣

Pyre Temb

There's nothing subtle about my desire for Heath.

Order-Border

shannon and heath would get along great XD holy shit

JCS

I was SO sad when they told me Heath wouldn’t be on the episode. Here’s hoping for next time!

John F

Great now Heath is going to ignore Blake's phone calls...

General Contact Unit Problem Child

one minor thing that annoyed me in this movie, when they talk about Jesus they say it happened "2000 years ago" even though the movie is supposed to be set in the 1820s

Kurt Montandon

If they were good at math and calendars, they wouldn't be religious.

William Yeske

Noah, you're pronouncing "Gallant" incorrectly and it hurts my soul every time you do it.

Markus D

When Eli was talking near the end about how religious people never reference the crazy Biblical passages like in the book of Ezekiel and says "come on you coward" I felt that deeply.

Annika Gunn

I cannot adequately describe how much I felt Shannon's stump rant! Preach!

Uriah Jackson

According to GAM lore, Heath doesn't respond to anyone's phone calls in a timely manner.

Mark Rose

You’re telling me that the people that believe in cows, horses, and steel in pre-Columbian North America could write something anachronistic? ;)
