Malachi 3:8-18King James Version (KJV) 8. Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Tabitha

i am offend by this anti-Boston rhetoric!

Every time I watch along with you guys, I regret it. This home video of a college play was no different.

Gothic Alice

Favorite line: "Hide and go during the Halocaust." I'm a bad person.

Love the episode, but leave it to patreon to fuck up the player even worse than it was before. Somehow a new and improved player has no way of going to a specific timestamp...

Tyler

Oh good, not just me. They'll work it out. There's no such thing as a perfect rollout for a mobile platform. Hire all the testers you want, it barely makes a dent in the number of possible conditions. That said, something as critical as the scrubber is pretty embarrassing. I'm sure it's not the most chill work environment at their office right now, so I feel for them.

True, I just can't believe some of the problems (and some of the features) made it to implementation. This download one episode at a time and no streaming system is just so convoluted and I don't know how it ever was seen as a good idea. Maybe it was the result of an issue patreon was having on the backend? Maybe? I really want patreon to be a good platform considering how invested amazing podcasts like this are, but I can't help but feel like patreon is asleep at the wheel sometimes...

The title alone is ludicrous. If there were such a thing as an omnipotent being, any experience it had would be necessarily consensual. Morality requires mortality: the concept of morality only makes sense withing the context of conscious beings which are able to experience varying states of happiness and suffering, but with limited power to control those experiences. Rocks aren't part of the moral conversation because they don't experience anything, and god(s), if such existed, aren't either because they can't have negative experiences forced upon them. A social species which wishes to prosper over the long term must develop moral systems to keep its societies from imploding. but when you're talking about a solitary and all-powerful being, the term 'morality' is meaningless nonsense.

Ishmael's angry Black man routine got old quickly. There's more than enough White guilt everywhere else on the Internet without his bullshit ruining my favorite podcast.

AK

I, on the other hand, would like Ishmael on the roster more often

Rick

I loved Ishmael. I'm now an Angry Black Rant listener.

Ganeth

I loved Ishmael as well, I'd love to see more guest appearances of him on any of your shows.
