Danna Wheeldon

I watched the film this morning in preparation for GAM.

Jesus Fucking Christ

This movie was amazingly terrible. The green screens were my favorite.

Christopher Arguin

I've been reloading for the last hour, waiting for this to brighten a bad week. Thanks!

Jason the Beav

Eli was so close to saying " it was the most green screen green screen I have ever seen" and I swear you hear stop when he realizes that's he's not Dr. Seuss and changes course.

Eric Denton

Can you guys add a direct download link like the guys at Cog Diss do? Patreon app is garbage. It's easier to wait the extra couple days for GAM to hit my podcatcher which defeats the whole "get it early" bonus thing.

Grey

I'm really surprised they don't have a direct download link. I'm a patron to Scathing Atheist as well, and they always have a Dropbox link that is up for up to a week after the show is released.

Tyler

Holy fucking shit I'm putting myself into a medically induced coma until this time next week so I don't suffer through the passage of time. I fucking HATE that movie. I scream obscenities at the DVD just in case they're right and I might miss the opportunity to impart my emotions on the atoms of the fucking disc. I literally burned my copy of that DVD, with fire, rather than risk someone finding it at a thrift shop.

Sneaky

Beethoven Ode to Joy ..... trying to class it up a bit ?

Jay Aldenwalt

After years of living and working in the Middle East and South Asia, I can assure you the subtitles are an accurate translation. This is how English is spoken in much of the world. Oh, and people in the UK think Americans sound just as bad.

Mr Pudifoot

Noah, Richard Donner was the good director of Superman 2. Richard Lester is the one who ruined the movie.

Steiner!!!

Until now, I've just listened to GAM. I finally work up the courage to watch the movie and this is what I get?!?! I picked a hell of a week to stop sniffing glue.

Douglas

What the Bleep? You said tomorrow right? I could'a swore I heard you say tomorrow.... Have you ever heard a 50 year old man squee?

Kevin McKinney

Anyone else having playback issues? Can't make it past the 27 minute mark.

Steiner!!!

I found myself yelling at the mother and the woman in the dance club, "don't turn around! Don't let them see your face! They'll kill you!" It was quite unsettling. Too many "this week in misogyny"s.

Alex Eckersley

You know, I think just hearing Eli's sound effects as he's acting out something is probably funnier than if we could actually see it.

Lizard Brain

Just to make your lives even more amazing: somewhere out the in the world, there is a 3-Disc "Quantum Version" of What the Bleep.

Tyler

That's the version I had. The pearlescent coating on the box made for a nice green flame when I burned it to protect humanity.

Taylor

I second this.

Taylor

I've watched along thrice, and regretted it every time.

Lizard Brain

I just recently realized that I still had it buried in my dvd collection. It has gone to a place where it can harm no one ever again.

Tyler

Am I correct in my memory that the big feature of the "quantum edition" was that it shuffled the bullshit segments and extra footage (by switching between 3 DVDs) in such a way that you never got the same order of bullshit twice? At the time, I just thought it was absurd and kind of ironic. But thinking back after spending hours authoring DVD menus, timelines and programming I have to admit: It is a pretty cool sequencing hack. Too bad it's still absurd, kind of ironic and the content makes you stupid.
