This week, we watch old people eat.

Lol I wonder if Heath is one of the folks who think the speed limit is going super slow

Prior to listening, the IMDB reviews are killing me. 6 audience reviews between 6 and 10 stars and one external critic review. This external review is from "BOX OFFICE REVOLUTION christian entertainment news and reviews". Wholly expecting a stupid glowing review, I read it for a light chuckle. This person hated the movie and gave it a 1.5/10 and almost convinced me that they are a secret atheist and GAM fan. "Conclusion It’s unclear what creators of movies like The Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club are going for. Perhaps worldview-pushing is the motivation. However, viewers aren’t going to be open to a philosophy when the film presentation is so bad. A creation of this low quality isn’t going to make any difference at all, besides the fact that many audiences don’t care about this type of messaging. Final Rating: 1.5 out of 10 points"

General Contact Unit Problem Child

Was this based on true events? Its so banal and plotless, I wondered if some Christian waitress wrote a shitty feel good book about her actual interactions with old customers, and they turned it into a movie

Benjamin Kimberlin

Me: *listening to this on my way into my 10-hour bartending shift* You know what, maybe I listen to some music instead.

Kristine VanRaalte

They need to do a movie about the waitress's childhood. She seems like a pleaser. She doesn't realize these assholes will NEVER be satisfied.

General Contact Unit Problem Child

I don’t like when the guys complained about restaurant customers who want cushions or can’t hear properly. Like that felt a little abalist, like you should be able to eat out if you’re infirm or deaf.

Scott Lesch

"Red" should be a returning character.

B. King

This episode makes me want to hear Heath's thoughts on Waiting and Cocktail.

Fix the Vote

“People who aren’t cool at restaurants” Does anyone else want a running bit of Heath explaining every mundane thing that makes people “the worst” from his perspective, a la “Grinds My Gears”?

Uriah Jackson

I feel like an alternate title for this movie could have been "Granddaddy Issues". The waitress character seems like she's projecting some unresolved guilt or regrets from her own childhood onto these old men.

Londyn

I mean we kinda already do lol

My wife used to have a Teeth Enwright. Would bring her ziplock bags of his half used toothpaste and old toothbrushes and tell her how much he loved her teeth.

For three years I worked down the road from the Kake Kraft Korner in Glen Burnie, MD.

Meghan Baldwin

It's Meghan, not Meeeegan!!! Love you guys!

Niamh Coghlan

Hehehehehehe. "Go to Hell ....o Fresh" 😂😂

You SAY "how did the coffee get too cold!?" and suggest that they should get a new coffeemaker, but SWEAR ON MY FUCKING LIFE my grandma will MAKE a fresh cup of coffee and put it in the microwave. I don't know HOW she stands it; if she has barely any feeling in her mouth, but it is insane.

Markus D

They might have mentioned the hearing thing being annoying, but they mostly complained about how it's used as a tired joke. I also got the impression that the big problem with asking for a cushion is just that most restaurants don't HAVE extra cushions, not that the guys were saying "fuck you, you have to be uncomfortable".

I thought that GAM348 was Redemption Way. Did I get my numbering mixed up? It doesn't really matter, but I download and save these by number, so I can watch them in order,... eventually. (I'm MONTHS behind, already.)
