I think the name Six-String Samurai is great and there's something to the concept (not with the feral kid though...) but you've got to go all-out with it and have good fight choreography.

You guys complain so much about the patron selections, this episode and several others. I don't have the stats on exactly how often, but damn if it isn't annoying. I'll gladly take never voting on a bonus episode over the incessant whining. I enjoy the show regardless of who picks the movie. I understand that it's mostly a bit, but it's played out.

Great choice. I love this movie despite how horribly done it is. Love Heath’s Cervantes take on the movie. I always took the movie as an allegory about who owns rock and roll. Especially with the battle between classic rock and heavy metal. The ending where everyone is dead and the next generation carries on alone cinches it for me.

Haven’t even listened to the episode yet. Waited until I had a chance to watch the movie. Patrons, I love you. I’ve never heard of this movie and that’s my loss. It’s a delight from beginning to end

This movie was my first real introduction to music that want fucked up god fellating hateful ass praise music. Buddy inspired me to go behind my moms back and pick up playing the guitar..which I got beat for doing. Which when homeless, actually helped keep me fed. I'm halfway curious about the episode but I need this movie to stay the way it is in my head. It's a mental health thing.

If you'd listened to the end, Noah like the movie, but two people liking it wouldn't have worked for the format.

If anybody didn't watch the movie, Heath is kind of right and kind of wrong. There is Inferno and Qixote here. Also every post-apocalyptic/action movie trope out there. And the end is WIZARD OF OZ. Obviously Top Hat is the Wicked Witch of the West, and Lost Vegas is the Emerald City. The henchmen are the flying monkeys (you can even hear them flying away as the Kid examines the business card). I can't believe they didn't get the two best comedy moments of the movie. When fighting the Pin Pals, Buddy does a high kick, and an obviously fake leg kicks up forward and loops around to hit a guy standing almost a foot behind him. Also, the car outside of Vegas that says this vehicle is Condemnski. Which makes me think this Red Army is Polish, cue polka music.
