That's right. Its once again spooktacular month so give us your most horrible haunts your most tedious terrifyers, and your badest...babadooks....you get it. Scary movie bonus suggestions go!

Comments

Fennec Fox

Sleep away Camp 2. It's amazingly bad.

Leslie Marchant

WOLVES!!! Jason Mamoa as a werewolf! Pre Aquaman! Deliciously dumb , disjointed, and dull!

Adam Pope

Pooh: Blood and Honey

Samuel Machi

13 Seconds. It's a fever dream of an awful horror movie and it never stops taking itself seriously.

Katy Hill

Slumber Party Massacre 2 - it has a villain dance scene, and the weapon is a guitar with a drill on the neck. It is WILD

Danilo Tepsa

Empty Man (and not what I previously wrote in a Covid fog: Slender Man). I can never decide if it’s good-bad, bad-good or just bad. You might settle that for me finally.

Regina Calabrese

I once again suggest The Haunting (1999). If you know? You fuckin’ KNOW.

David

A quiet place! Such a stupid premise and so many many many noises made that didn't need to be made lol

David

A Quiet Place 2 is also great garbage

Khristle

Fertilize the Blaspheming Bombshell

Ashley Ackley

The house (hausu) crazy 70s Japan horror.

Kamaljeet Gill

Making a pitch (again) for From Hell.

Will

My entire life has been heading towards a GAM bonus breakdown of the 1988 masterpiece, Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Pretend it’s my make a wish. I need this.

AgnesBell

Sleepaway Camp! It’s my favorite terrible horror movie of all time. So bad. So quotable.

Liz Burns

Devil Dog: Hound of Hell never fails to hilariously disappoint. 🐾

Michael Nelson

The Lock In. Horrible Christian scary movie about a haunted magazine terrorizing kids at a church lock in. Also, if people don't know what a lock in is, they're creepy enough on their own!

David Merrill

Modern Vampires. It’s so bad. Stars Casper Van Dien. Directed by Danny Elfman’s brother. Rod Steiger is Van Helsing who hires gang members to help kill vampires. It has Kim Catrall and Craig Ferguson as coked-out vampires. It must be seen to be believed.

Caldwell

Constantine (2005). You got Keanu Reeves going to Catholic hell; you got Shia LaBeouf; you got Tilda Swinton; and, you have absolutely garbage Catholic ideas about mental health throughout to mock

I’mNotSayingThat

The Giant Claw (1957) — a movie with monster SFX so bad that the cast snuck out of the theater at the premier!

Larry

The Cleansing Hour. Scammers running an online exorcism show have to deal with the real thing. Similar to The Last Exorcism.

CarrieBoo

Aquaslash (2019)

LIZ - the Certified Financial Panther

I'm gonna throw out Stephen King's anthology classic, Cat's Eye. It's delightfully campy and I think Noah will love the kitty 💖

Kevin

Vampires (the James Woods version)

Kevin McGonigle

The wrong turn franchise so many bad hill Billy movies. They also made 3 deep blue seas just saying

Mees Hilgersom

Already did that one iirc Edit: episode 10

Venkman's Assistant

Ghost Story (1981) would be a good one, if only because Fred Astaire can be in a GAM movie. Hollow Man needs to be torn apart, too. Oh, and The Boogens!

Bunny Bismuth, Bun-Bun of Seething

I'm going to once again suggest Papi Gudia. It's literally Bollywood directly copying Child's Play but with song and dance numbers and then a total swerve into GAM territory in the last couple minutes. Really entertaining shit.

Bunny Bismuth, Bun-Bun of Seething

Just saw Trilogy of Terror on Svengoolie this past Saturday. A movie that scarred a generation plus Karen Black being hot AF in four roles.

Stonedbanana

An action horror classic? Probably not, but it's got vampires, one of them being Kate Beckinsale, and Hugh Jackman as he phones in his portrale of Van Helsing in the (2004) movie titled after his character. I watched it for the second time about three years ago and couldn't believe how terrible it was.

Kellie Linda

The Lodge. Not good bad, just bad. Every person needs a therapist and instead they go on vacation to a secluded cabin. Right. I’ve never had fictional characters make me so mad.

Michael Nelson

Crap, really? I need to go back and listen to it then!

Ash

Gonna throw out Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 and Smiley.

Eric Johnson

Karen (2021). A movie based on a social media meme. Runtime: 1h29m Rotten Tomatoes: 17% critics, 20% audience "Karen attempts to displace the new Black family that moved into the neighborhood, but they won't back down without a fight." Stars Taryn Manning (sister of Peyton).

Sidewinder

If we're going that route, throw in The Hills Have Eyes. Never liked that movie and the second one (I think) has a group of Army soldiers doing a training event in the desert where they get attacked by the inbred locals and they act more like Three Stooges than trained combatants.

The Younglings Had It Coming

Alone in the Dark (2005)! Paranormal investigator horror movies are always delightfully terrible, and this one is a stand out

Wustite

Event Horizon is always a good choice, any of the Puppetmaster or Wishmaster movies

Radical unelected bureaucrat @ Dept. Of the Deep State

Just watched Deadbeat by Dawn for the first time and the writer/director/lead is just as batshit in person as you'd think. If you want a weird AF 80s movie fueled by drugs and that one time he learned nunchucks...you're welcome.

Tony

Prom Night (1980) They got Jamie Lee Curtis. They got Leslie Nielsen. They... must have run out of casting money because everyone else is not good at acting. See twins dressed like Pugsly Addams, a super contrived death by bullying, completely unsympathetic slasher victims, and a choreographed disco dance scene.

Caldwell

I think I like it more ironically than genuinely, but I do have a soft spot for pretty much any movie Keanu is in, so at least some of it is genuine lol

Cleric of vecna

Always suggest event horizon because it's one of my favorites

Geoffrey T. Blackwell

Godsend. Terrible Robert De Niro movie where he plays a fertility doctor who gives a couple an evil kid. It's like The Omen meets The Good Son with some hatred for fertility doctors thrown in. It's bizarre.

James Miller

The Devil Below. This is a terrible movie built off of a good concept. Lots of material to work with and even some religious connections without being a christian movie.

Eric Meyer

Either of the two best/worst chapters in established franchises: *Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. There's a goddamn chainsaw duel. C'mon... *Halloween 3: no Michael Myers, but evil company stealing a Sarcen stone and murdering people with shitty rubber masks and the mystical power of Stonehenge. Plus that lady gets killed in the face with a Stonehenge laser!

A.J.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2: It's got Dennis Hopper and I can only assume SO MUCH COCAINE use from everyone involved.

Dustin Hanson

https://link.tubi.tv/Zu2100DxzDb Blood Harvest, I’m just going to suggest it every year. It is so 80’s cheesy and bad. Tiny Tim (the “Tiptoe through the Tulips” guy) being extra weird, and he was already known for being weird.

Angela Earle

Alien. Hear me out here: imagine the voices Eli could do for the cat, ……. When Sigourney Weaver is risking her life and the ship to find the damn cat. The main alien could have the voice of the Donald. …… kind of writes itself.

Timothy Addison

Stephen kings SLEEPWALKERS This movie was made for this.

B. King

Satan's Little Helpet https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0380687/ The killer dresses as both Satan and Jesus. Full dialed up crazy Amanda Plummer. "A naive young boy unknowingly becomes the pawn of a serial killer" is the movies description. It's an absolutely nuts film.

Robby Haentze, a consumer of silliness

1. Willy's Wonderland: if you ever wanted the Nicolas Cage version Five Nights at Freddy's, here you have it. 2. The Number 23: A Jim Carrey drama/suspenseful movie about a guy obsessed with the Number 7... just kidding, it's with 23

I’mNotSayingThat

“Where we’re going, we won’t need eyes to see!” Closest thing we’ll ever get to a WH40K movie, I dig it.

Hazel

Alone in the Dark. It’s Uwe Boll doing horror, what more needs be said?

Taru Tikkanen

Slender Man was the bonus episode for December 2018.

Danilo Tepsa

Of course! I just made my frequent stupid mixup and meant Empty Man…

Bunny Bismuth, Bun-Bun of Seething

Beware Children at Play. Troma nastiness and nonsense ending in... Well, I won't spoil it, but it's not something you usually see in movies.

Adam Parkin

Xtro, a weird British alien abduction film (and one of the few films I can think of that hasn't been done by Werewolf Ambulance)

Bunny Bismuth, Bun-Bun of Seething

Gotta second the mentions of Sleepaway Camp, if only so you can spend twenty minutes raging at the godawful trope in the ending and the ham-and-cheese acting of so many of the characters

Bunny Bismuth, Bun-Bun of Seething

Gotta love anything that made the Video Nasties list even if it wasn't in the "we're going to throw your ass in prison for even having this" part

Eric Johnson

For those mentioning Sleepaway Camp, you should definitely check out Sleepaway Camp 2. They take Angela and make her into a funny killer like they did with Mary Lou in the original Prom Night sequels. She also kills two brothers named Emilio and Charlie, possibly because the writer has something against the Sheen family. And right before one of the campers gets killed he goes off on a rant about how trans people are mentally ill and about how we should vote for people like Reagan. I don't know if it qualifies for GAM, but I think everyone should check it out.

Fieryfox

1 BR https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7541106/ It hits the you don't need meds trope, the dead cancer mom, montage of memories from within the film, and more. I would love to hear you guys talk about this one

The DinosaurDave

65 Its about as wrong as possible across the board when it comes to paleo stuff. If you want a guest to talk about why the dinosaur side of things is bad, pm me, and I will more than happily give you a play by play.

MutatedWisdom

Can you *please* tackle "Alien Abduction: Incident in Lake County"? There's so much dumbness they try to pull as filler and cheap scares, and a wino grandma who never puts her glass down even while the ET's are after her! Free on youtube btw.

Adam Pope

can this be a dinos in a thunderstorm special?

Michael Nelson

They even name drop it on today's episode! I hang my head in shame.

Antonio A Barroso

I just saw that Amazon added Blood Hook. It’s a fishing themed horror movie.

Scott Laird

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes

Kevin McGonigle

Also Freaked. Guaranteed Eli will love this movie. Here’s my pitch Mr T is in it. Keanu reeves plays a wolf boy and it’s is so 1993 it’s bonkers

Ruth Shelton

Some of y’all are putting movies that are generally considered good or are purposefully “bad” or campy. We need some real god awful like The Bye Bye Man or The Gallows, Countdown or Friend Request.

JP Salentine

Halloween town? Haven't seen it since I was a kid so not sure how it holds up

Laura Lusby

If you’re looking for an actually good scary movie, I recommend THE OTHERS with Nicole Kidman. So fucking good. Scared the crap out of me. It’s PERFECT OR Arsenic and Old Lace.

WolfWizard

I'd recommend this low budget horror movie called "Skinned Deep". It's got mutants, bikers, a guy with bear-trap mouth, a thing that got one of the actors arrested in NYC, and motherfuckin' Warwick Davis (i think he's a friend of the filmmaker). It's insane https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szNfdcnO7zo

Clockworkk

“Ao Oni ver. 2.0” It’s one of the most unhinged movies I’ve ever seen. The first one came out in 2014, and they decided to do a remake in 2015 (who the fuck knows why), and it was even more fucking deranged than the original. It’s a goddamn fever dream of people pretending they’re anime characters.

Sham Hunter

Am I too late? Tremors terrified me when I was a kid. The floor is lava suddenly felt more high stakes.

Sham Hunter

Actually I remember it being great and I don’t wanna tarnish that. Maybe one of the terrible sequels. They all suffer from a distinct lack of bacon. Kevin Bacon

Eric Esders

The first is an absolute classic. Even 2 and 3 are great movies. 4 and onwards don't offer enough for even Michael Gross to carry.

lil-brudder89

Halloween 3 is legit my favorite Halloween movie.

Jme Simard

What about Critters 2? Even takes place around a church.

SilentDis

The Witch. I just think ya'll should be allowed to watch a good movie, on occasion. <3

I’mNotSayingThat

Liked how they wrote him out of the series in the second film though. Earl: “Val married a good woman! Why would he want to die?”

Robert Muse

Exorcist believer Halloween 3

Irregular History Network

Pumpkinhead, one of the characters is a hardcore Christen so you can make it work on the main feed if want

Kevin McGonigle

The devil on trial. As a follow up to the devil made me do. As an added bonus their is fat kid in the movie with a Pete Rose haircut
