Meet Na'Krasha [preview] (Patreon)

Hey friends! YouTube is starting to monetize Shorts in February, which is great news, because I've enjoyed making Shorts like my "Conversations with my Dice" and "Mermaid Girlfriend," but it was difficult to justify the time they required when they weren't earning any money. This means that you'll be seeing a lot more Shorts from me this year! I'm hoping to do one to two Shorts a week in addition to my full length videos, since Shorts can be much more easily batched — in the time it takes me to make one full-length video, I can usually make 4-6 Shorts. (That'll also mean that the weeks when I don't make a full length video will hopefully feel less empty!)

I have a bunch of ideas for new Shorts series, but one of them is to create short videos introducing my NPCs. At this point I've developed a whole library of characters, but all of them are introduced and developed in such a weird combination of places and ways, it can be hard for new folks to learn about them. My goal with these Shorts is to compile a bunch of quick, simple introductions that point viewers to where they can learn more about the character if they want to.

After putting this first one together, I realized this was the perfect type of video to outsource to a video editor I've been in conversation with, since it's so graphics-heavy. We're planning to launch this series in early March, and this particular video will look a bit different (more polished, hopefully!) in its final form, but here's a little sneak preview of what this series is going to be like. I've already filmed Na'Krasha, Augury, Wisteria, Nymwen, and Elliwyn, who will be the first batch of NPCs I cover.

Hope you like it!
