HOLY CRAP!!! 😱 WHAT A PLOT TWIST!!!

We seriously thought the couple in the picture was the Baudelaire parents… BUT IT WASN’T THEM?!? LIKE… WHAAAAT?! 😭

And of course, we had to analyze that picture again at the end, and now we have a theory: does that mean the couple in the middle were their REAL parents?! If so… does that mean they’re actually dead?! 💔 That would be such a sad realization…

And Klaus being brainwashed in this episode?! 😭 We felt SO bad for him!

That was one of the best twist I remember. I only read the first 3 books in elementary. So when the first episode aired I didn't know it that's how it went or a show creation.

actually, those tripletts that the parents came back to, isadora duncan and quigly quagmire- those triplets will become characters in later episodes

I will say, a lot of book readers also thought that they were the Baudelaire parents until the reveal. The books are filled with mysteries and lot of things go on in the background that we only get glimpses of. What I will say about the Baudelaire parents in the show so far is that we didn't see them die, so they could be dead, but it's not 100% certain. The parents ended up being the parents of Duncan, Isadora, and Quigley, three triplets. The Quagmire family won't be irrelevant, so keep an eye on that. Yes, the Baudelaire parents are the ones standing between the Quagmire parents and Aunt Josephine. It's the way the show misled us, always showing both the Quagmire parents with the Baudelaire parents whenever they zoomed in on them. The actress playing Dr. Orwell is known for a few big roles, but one you two have heard her in is the Nightmare Before Christmas, where she voiced Sally.

THAT WAS CRAZY FOR SURE! 😭 We had been thinking of them as the Baudelaires’ parents from the very beginning, so that twist completely caught us off guard! 😱 We definitely didn’t see that coming!
