The water steamed around her as she moved from stone to stone, her plaid mini skirt brushing her thighs and the soft crop tops she favored clinging just enough to catch the warm light.

She laughed under her breath, freckles catching the lantern glow, braid swaying as she turned to glance back over her shoulder. Out here, there was no protocol. No expectations. Just the sound of the waterfall, the soft splash of water against stone, and the quiet thrill of being completely, deliciously herself.
