Courtney stood on the edge of the rooftop, pink jacket hanging open over her soaked black crop top, dark jeans clinging to her legs as water ran down her skin. She liked the way the rain made everything sharper — the cool air on her bare midriff, the way her clothes stuck to her, the quiet thrill of being fully seen for once. One hand resting on the railing, the other pushing wet hair back from her face, she glanced over her shoulder with that half-smirk that said she already knew someone was watching.
