Hallo everynyan! It's the last episode before my hiatus and i feel so awful about it.. i know this was an evil cliffhanger to end on but as everyone can see im in no state to keep doing weekly episodes anymore 😭😭😭not until i get a decent buffer going at least, i feel really bad that i havent posted more arts lately and that's just bc my shoulders hurt a lot.. even with the stretches its just not recovering as fast as it used to anymore, but i hope this one month hiatus i'm gonna take after this will help somewhat..

Of course I will still post art and other things if i have time to do them but right now my priority is just the webtoon, i really want it to have a good ending and we're approaching it soon, i think most ppl alrdy forgor the plot and bc of all the hiatuses a lot of ppl have dropped it already and i dont blame them, but i still want cherry crush to be binged so even if the weekly readers drop i'm sure long time readers (esp the ones who pick it up near the end) will like it a lot more, since my storytelling style has always rewarded the binge reading life style.. bc im a binge reader myself i guess.. which leads to a lot of evil cliff hangers but i swearr i dont do it on purpose..

This past week have been really awful for me, when you're holed up in your room writing yaois and worrying about disappointing your wonderful patrons it really stresses you out a lot.. i've been trying to keep up with real life responsibiliites but even in those i've fallen short, i feel like i just draw and sleep and eat and draw and sleep and eat and dont talk to anyone.. it's been real isolating but i guess most comic artists live like this.. right? i feel like im going crazy though.. 😭

ANywayss, I HAVE to talk about this episode right.. i think its pretty obvious that Khai is 💀 like anyone whos been half paying attention would know that.. i do wanna show more backstory between khai and chohan and obviously the things that lead to him being the way he is, this is what i've been afraid of for season 4 though like.. a lot of the second half of this season isn't really on Cherie and Crush at all and i'm always scared that the people who dont gaf abt the syndicate politics wont gaf if Cherie and Crush aren't involved but i promisee i promise they are.. when i wrote season 4 i was thinking about what it would take for cherie and crush to finally be able to live and love freely and the answer is chohan.. he's been there since the beginning and he's been teased repeatedly since season 1 2 3 so obviouslyyyy season 4 would focus on him and his motivations right, a story is only as good as its villain and if i don't do the chohan backstory well then i basically just tanked this entire season for no reason.. so that's been my biggest anxieties going into the ending..i hope this hiatus will help me plan the plot reveal well bc im really really excited to show you guys where the story will go..!

I'll try my best to get the comic back up to speed when my hiatus is over..! But for now.. Cherry Crush will be paused until Friday, April 1st, 2026.
