I was in Northern Ireland back in November and saw a lot of Game of Thrones related stuff while i was over there, as it was one of their main filming locations. I see went and did the GOT Studio Tour and got to stand in the great hall of Winterfell (the only filming set that never moved, the rest in the tour were moved there and rebuilt)!!! Ever since I got back I've been meaning to do another re-watch and seeing this notification gave me the perfect opportunity! So excited to see what you think of one of my favorite shows!

This first episode had such an iconic cold opening. But it took my ADHD ass like three tries to actually get past the first 15 minutes of the first episode, LOL. I finally got into it when my friend kept talking about it and would help me when I was confused about who was who.

It took me a couple of seasons of my friends and even my auntie saying "You should watch Outlander. I can't believe you don't watch Outlander." What put me off was the association with "romance novels." If that's your thing, no worries. My mom loved romance novels. It's just not my genre in general. But the series is sooooo much more than based on a romance series. It's unlike anything I've seen, actually.
