It's our first time watching BRING HER BACK and we're bringing tissues, reverence, and an unshakable belief in Sally Hawkins supremacy. Emotional devastation doesn't begin to cover it but we're still there! It’s fine. We’re fine. Totally fine. 🙃😱⭕👀💔👻🩸😭

This movie messed me up... but I'll suffer the trauma again to watch along with you two! Lol 😁🥰😧😨😱

This movie was so good, but such a tough watch. I went in blind as well when I saw it in theaters. Nothing could have prepared me... truly. These filmmakers just keep knocking it out of the park. I am really looking forward to whatever trauma they are coming out with next. 😬 The performances were outstanding. Sally Hawkins is a queen! Her roles are so diverse... Paddington, The Shape of Water, Fingersmith, Blue Jasmine and now this film. Talk about range!

This movie is sick, twisted, demented, and terrifying. Love it so much ☺️🤭

Y'all get me outta here! OMG! This was so so messed up.

Congrats to Sora Wong for this film being her acting debut She is fantastic and I am so happy to see these directors casting a wonderful new actor that also is part of the disability artists community. She has limited vision due to her coloboma and microphthalmia. I absolutely adore her she is phenomenal and I am so happy to see fellow disabled artists kicking ass.!🤗❤️🤗

Angry_Pigeon

I saw this movie for the first time along with the Horror Bandwagon and couldn't wait to watch it along with you guys because this movie is wild.

Emily Carmen

Chey I am so sorry you had to go through losing your dad and that this film reminded you of such an upsetting time in your life. Please never feel you or Wes ever have to complete a film for us if it is ever triggering or upsetting or just making either of you uncomfortable in a way that is at all traumatic. We all absolutely adore you both and would never ever want you or Wes to suffer even ever a single moment or even a millisecond. We will ALWAYS support you both regardless of what you watch. Thank you for always being so open and creating such a welcoming and comforting community. I know I have said this a lot but I truly look forward to watching all of your videos even if it was all just reruns of reactions I have already seen. So anyways please never force or push yourselves to watch something if it ever is too much. We all are forever fans regardless of what you choose to watch🤗❤️🤗🎃🤗❤️🤗

aww thank you so much for saying this- I'm okay, really. It was quite traumatic what happened to my family and it's actually so wild because this week is the 20th anniversary so it was very surreal and wild to watch knowing that. But I feel it was cathartic for me and probably others too. Sally really mothered so hard that it made it all a little better ya know, But again thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot.

Emily Carmen

I didn’t really notice this until the 2nd viewing, but every time they hear something from Olly, it was because he was eating some of them. So when he meowed in the beginning it was after he ate a piece of the tail on the cat, it was him in the bathroom after he ate the dad’s hair, he mimicked Laura after biting her and it was him at the end talking as Andy because he ate some of him too. I keep racking my head about the ending though. I think when Piper yelled Mom, Laura must’ve remembered Cathy drowning and finally realized what she was doing. She heard mom one more time. For the ritual to have worked, piper would’ve had to have died and then Ollie would have to transfer the soul after. Love this movie and loved the reaction!!

Also, thinking about how the Philippou Brothers said this takes place in the same universe as Talk to Me. I would love to see Andy somehow appear in Talk 2 Me.

Emily Carmen

That is so wild it is the twentieth anniversary as well.! I am so sorry it was so traumatic for you and your family🫂❤️🫂 I am glad you are doing ok I know I speak for all of us Petty Pumpkins from the patch..........you and Wes being happy and enjoying each and every video yall watch is always all that we want Just for you both to be enjoying yourselves Oh and the kitties too.! I know everyone adores your adorable furry little sidekicks as well And Sally was giving an Oscar worthy performance for sure I always have enjoyed her work and this was a whole other level of appreciation for her incredible talent Thank you again for always writing such a kind response yall really are the absolute best and kindest and most genuine reaction channel I am so grateful to have found a few years ago when you started🤗❤️🤗🎃🤗❤️🤗

I had a hard time watching this movie. Losing my dad was so hard and I've been thinking about him so much lately. I thought this was gonna be a horror movie, instead it's a movie about grief and loss that has horror elements.

JackieSue

A cool movie to watch and react to,is a movie called The Ritual! It's very different and pretty intense. Hope all is well with both of you! Peace & Love to everyone around the world. ✌️❤️✌️❤️

Chrissy

I watched this for the first time tonight and for me this was 100 times more intense than talk to me. That ending shot of her in the pool with her daughter and the music score, heart in my mouth. Beautifully shot.

Brian (DocHikes)

We do need a The Ritual reaction!! Would be great for August or September before fall sets in

Chrissy

“I think this movie just broke me” No Wes just give it a second *Ollie pulls his own skin off with teeth* THERE you go 😂😂

Kristin Weiss

If it wasn’t for the way you both made me laugh so much by continuously saying “What the actual F” and Wes getting super close to the camera saying it again 😂😂 I would not have made it through this movie. I will also be honest and say I had to turn the screen away a few times. What the actual F? 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩

Tanesha

This was a good movie I will never watch again, lol.

marmaladexx

Just finished and and cried so hard what the fawk

I noticed so much more on a second viewing. That was a whole a$$ demon in Connor "Ollie". I think she used the name Ollie since that's her nephew's name in case the name ever got brought up by Andy or Piper it wouldn't bring any attention Laura didn't want. In the bathroom scene when the glass shatters for a split second you see what's really in him, a demonic looking figure. When Andy is trying to take video of Connor (aka Ollie aka demon) you also see a demonic figure. I think Laura somehow orchestrated the father's death too. She also put some powder in Andy's drink at the beginning. Connor wrote Bird on a paper in a moment of clarity of who is really is since that's his last name. The demon was able to mimic the sound of the cat after eating it and also Andy's father's voice after eating his hair that Laura cut off of him during the funeral. If you've never heard of it, the filmmakers had a website created where it's supposed to be a black market for cursed items. For the tape it shows someone presumed to be Laura that got a hold of the tape and is asking questions, she really doesn't know what she's doing. There's the Talk to Me embalmed hand on there too. I wonder if they're setting up a cursed items universe since both movie are linked to the same universe now! It's blackangeltapes.net. you can research and see news articles about it, it's legit. lol

Amanda

The way I busted laughing when Chey and I said “ what the f…??” at the beginning… at the same time!! 😂😂 this movie was truly terrifying! Depression in a film! Omg!

roseforthethorns

I saw this twice in theaters because I couldn’t get it out of my head, and I’ve been combing through for reactions to it because. It’s. Just. So. Visceral. I adore the practical effects. The kids absolutely SMASHED their performances (Sora Wong’s FIRST ACTING GIG EVER). I’m so excited for all y’all’s reaction Kids aren’t ever safe in Phillipou movies either.

roseforthethorns

At about 16:45, when Laura lies about Ollie while looking at Andy, I saw that as her already testing what he would or would not challenger her on. AND she does that immediately after Andy lies about Ollie smiling at Piper.

roseforthethorns

Wetting the bed is often a sign of trauma or distress, especially in kids. Laura using her psych knowledge against Andy and Piper makes me so freaking angry because of how realistic it is.

roseforthethorns

The sequence starting around 45 minutes had me trying to crawl through my theater chair clutching my mouth.

Mags

This is going in the “Dancer in the Dark” vault of great films I never want to watch again.
