I’ve seen this movie a million times and had no idea there was an unrated version because I’ve never seen that sex scene OR the part where she strips on the baseball field. In the other version she takes her top off and touches the bat but it’s different than this version. Totally crazy that I never knew about this.

This film has a killer soundtrack. Years ago I had it on cd, right after the movie came out. And yes- Can’t Fight The Moonlight, Right Kind Of Wrong, ARE directly from this film. The soundtrack included the original songs written for the film as well as the other great music played in the film. And it's just banger after banger. To this day, if I hear Moonlight, the song is stuck in my head for days. Also, Coyote Ugly was and is a real bar in NYC. They do get rough and wild and it's legendary. They are an all female owned, run and worked business. They actually used to have a Coyote Ugly reality show (showed the running of the bar, the audition process for women hoping to get a job there, and the bar dance practices) in the early 2000’s that came about because of the huge popularity of the film and its soundtrack. And yes, They really DO dance on the bar. 🤣
