Godrics death is really sad. And Eriks reaction always gets me. I will say for this show that the swedish is kind of important, so if you are able to get subtitles for the swedish i would recommend that! :) I find it so annoying when streaming platforms dont translate other languages and just write "speaking in language" cause a lot of the time it is relevant. Luckily i understand swedish but just a tip! i think youll enjoy these interactions a lot more when you know whats being said. Loving your reactions and excited for the last few episodes! Lorena is so iconic and even though shes a villain i guess i still love seeing her. Also Mariann is such a fun addition, and the actor is so perfect for the role.

This scene specifically is one of my favorites and where one of my favorite quotes from the show comes from. Godric responding to Eric and telling him “There are centuries of faith and love between us” was just so beautiful and heartbreaking.

Thank you for the info. When I was watching that scene, I couldn't understand why they wouldn't tell us what the characters were saying. It was frustrating. Now, I'm off to find a clip with the Swedish captions.

It's been pretty clear that they have been setting up a triangle between Bill, Eric, and Sookie. I wish they hadn't gone the route of her being pulled towards Eric against her will. It would have been more compelling, to me at least, to have any feelings happen organically. I enjoy Eric as a character, but at this point I'm firmly in the Bill/Sookie camp. 😃 Especially after that particular twist.

Ok so a question I have is: if Sookie drinking Eric’s blood may cause her to feel sexual feelings towards him, is Sookie drinking Bill’s blood why she developed feelings towards him? She drinks a lot of Bill’s blood before they officially get together? I always thought that was a wierd plot point because it could be skewed towards Bill having an influence on Sookie’s feelings towards him as well. I actually do like Eric and Sookie together. He brings out a kind of fire in her that I like to see her have. I also love Godrik, even though he isn’t in the series very much I really identify with him especially now.

Godric is my fave storyline! It added depth to Eric’s character and the vampire lore. I like that this episode showed the contrast of Bill and Eric feelings towards their makers. Bill never wants to see crazy Lorena again and Eric is begging sweet Godric to stay.

Eric was shady with the bullet sucking thing, but the attraction/sexual dreams aspect doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll develop feelings for the vampire. Like, Lafayette has had Eric’s blood and it hasn’t really colored his opinion of him other than maybe being grateful he healed him (which would be a stretch considering the reason he needed to be healed.) I definitely think Sookie’s bad opinion of Eric would have changed in Dallas without the blood, especially after seeing him so vulnerable with Godric. That whole rooftop scene was so beautiful. Those dreams though, damn. They almost have better chemistry than Sookie with Bill, but you’re probably right and Alexander Skarsgard is so sexy he could create chemistry with anyone.
