Yes, please react to season 3! I almost never comment, but you guys have really made me excited to see this show. I had the season 1 DVD box set because I knew the creator was Alan Ball, who did Six Feet Under (my favorite show of all time). Obviously now I understand why it was so different, but at the time, I couldnt get into it. I was probably 17 or so when I finished SFU, so I don't think i appreciated the camp and fun of the show. I was an angsty teen! Anyway, I've been listening to some commentaries on the DVD, and it's interesting - apparently the theme song was a placeholder Alan Ball put there and they tried different songs and compositions, but none were better than that original pick. He said it was one of the iTunes free downloads on Tuesday when they would give you a free song and he just happened to download all of them whether he liked it or not.

Although I can't personally see Tara and Jason together ever, this does set up an interesting situation if they got in a relationship and she learns Jason killed Eggs! I do love the Andy/Jason arc this season.

Season 1 heavily followed the first book, but Season 2 is when the show runners started doing their own thing in a way. Speaking of the books, that was author Charlaine Harris sitting at the bar in the opening scene saying “I certainly never expected anything like that to happen here.” Can’t wait for season 3!
