Oh dear, is it spooky scary season for you guys :) ? As to why is it in their contract to investigate ... Well the cryo chamber should be a hint. Who knows how far off it is not to mention how long it would take someone else to get there. If it is a distress call ... Also, handface... no facehugger... She tried to disable the destruct because the Alien was blocking her way to the shuttle. And yes, you need to see more to comprehend the rich lore behind it and the company.

A great example of the axiom less is more. You don't see that much of the alien but the threat is constant. When it comes to horror films, tension trumps shock every time. I saw this in the theatre when it came out and I may have left a few fingernails imbedded in my armrest. By all means check out Aliens. After that the returns diminish. Glad this won out over Exorcist. Not that its a bad film, just don't find those kinds of films all that scary. Great reaction guys. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

You're right. You're definitely more scared of something you can't see vs something you can. Hopefully we get to the second one soon.

Facehugger. Thats the one 😂 Yeh, I thought about it after the movie and it makes sense. Especially when you think about the size of "space".
