You definitely chose the right Monty Python movie to start with. This or Life of Brian are generally considered the best movies (all of them are pretty good though). Personally, my favorite bits are almost all from the Flying Circus tv show (mountaineer, argument and parrot sketch to name a few) and my favorite song is from the movie The Meaning of Life (penis song). From this movie though if I had to pick a favorite bit it's the guards confusing what the king wants them to do 'So you want us to stay here, and make sure no one enters the room. Got it' Fun Facts: 1. The ending was a 'cop out', they couldn't figure out how to end the movie. 2. While they were arrested for murdering the historian, they didn't do it, they don't have horses. The knight who killed the historian was riding a horse.

If you want an acid trip from the same time, watch the original Wickerman, to categorize it as a horror is to do it a disservice.

I can't believe there are British people who haven't seen Monty Python! I thought this was required viewing over there! I had this movie memorized by the time I was 14. My friends and I reenacted a few scenes for our school talent show LOL
