Mortali Locaust
A war demon, brought about to combat the Caspians' new tactics, its aerial speed and ability to bombard areas via its toxic and acidic pustular sacs proved capable of melting through the armor of Caspian tanks. Forcing the Caspians to be far more cautious with their use, they would also prove useful in terrorizing dug-in defenders. The Locaust has also been shown to be effective in ground combat, as its massive size, multiple appendages, and deadly barbed, split tail make it an intimidating creature to face. Even if the Caspians are able to wound or kill it, the Locaust has one final surprise: its blood is highly corrosive.
Locaust are also responsible for spawning head lice. These creatures have been seen attaching themselves to the heads of their victims and bloating them to grotesque proportions. Once sufficiently engorged, the head detaches from the victim's body, becoming a floating toxic mine.
Healing through Slaughter
Brother Remus knelt down to provide the final rites to his fallen brothers. As is tradition among the Crusaders of Gehenna, the eyes of their brothers must be recovered and examined for signs of the divine truth. Remus plucked out their eyes; none showed signs of the moonlight truth; it would remain elusive. All that was left was to provide them with an honorable cremation. Remus sat down near the remains of a Caspian vehicle; they had made the Caspians suffer greatly. This was their fourth attempt at gaining a foothold in Kotkino. For each of his brothers that fell in combat, the Caspians lost dozens of men, and more importantly, they were also starting to bleed their pool of vehicles and ULTRAs. Brother Remus knew that he and his brothers were the bulwark of Lord Falconi's plan; if their deaths were needed for the ultimate triumph against the enemies of the Black Pope, then they would not complain.
Remus gathered himself, as the Caspians would attempt another attack in only a matter of time. He would have to enact the Necromancer rites and raise the dead to assist him in his last stand, as reinforcements were unlikely to arrive in time to assist him.
