A Conspiracy of Ravens

"The nature of the Ravens, intelligent and resourceful, astute winged creatures. When the hawks and falcons of the governing and corporate bodies clashed, it fell to the ravens to look over the common people of the Floating City. They are still honored now, centuries after the times of shame, as the world changed, the Ravens still stand, fixing the little troubles."

The Wings shall never be clipped.

"It is of the highest taboo for a fixer to kill another fixer, it is a sign that times are truly grim when this occurs. For they are not Corpos, Fedies, criminals, or monsters, no they are fixers. One can incapacitate, injure, wound, and cripple a fellow Fixer, but killing is the work of vultures. A vulture is a Fixer that has killed a another fixer outside of an accepted cause, as much as some would like to grand stand, it does happen, fights do end in deaths, and even at times cases require the death of a targeted fixer, but a vulture does it without due cause. Once known as a vulture, the CoR flags you, they will no longer do business with you and you will be placed on a bounty list and treated no better than a Syndicate hitman. 

One of the key ways that this is kept track of, is that a fixer is required to write a report in on a case, if a fellow fixer is harmed or killed in the line of work this must be noted down and called in as soon as possible. "

Milkyway Parade 

Age:31 Residential area: 5th ring

Milla Miller Milton, otherwise known as Milia Milkyway, a celebrity within Atlantropa known for her association with the Evergreen Family Farms and the Red Code Records Company. She would have an extremely successful pop star career during her 20s, pivoting to the surprise of everyone keeping track of her career to the fixer lifestyle. Earning the respectable high-mid ranking within the CoR. 

She has attempted to maintain a healthy balance between her public life as a celebrity and her fixer job, but it is becoming apparent that if she wishes to go further up the rankings she will most likely have to retire from the celebrity lifestyle. 

King of the Ring

Age: 34 Residential area: 8th Ring

El Tigre Rey, a Mid level Fixer widely known for not just his career as a fixer, but also his role in the Atlantropa Wrestling scene, he is the current holder of the AWC(Atlantropa Wrestling Championship) heavyweight belt. Widely popular and renowned, some people question just how much of which side of his truly his main profession, as he sacrifices his body both in the ring entertaining millions and out of the ring apprehending criminals and acting like some sort of superhero. The man even has merchandise of him, something that is unheard of for mid level fixers, it is far more common for high end and legends to get the sponsorships. 

El Rey Tigre never breaks character in public, even when he is in the halls of the CoR he still stays in character, although some questioned his commitment initially, he quickly proved them wrong, by getting to work and doing his part to clean up streets. He is like a public PR enhancement machine, often going to small communities across his districts and holding events and meet and greets, he has been known to stay until the very end of these, only leaving once everyone's gotten the chance to greet him. Perhaps he is a super hero of sorts.

The Dragon Slayer

Age: 70 Residential area: 12th Ring

Martin Vayner Roux, a legendary Fixer renowned by many as one of the greatest swordsmen of his generation, a man of old world customs and integrity. Having originally come to the Floating City of Atlantropa to aid in the Penumbra Wars, he decided to settle down permanently afterwards. Having taken a liking to the city and its people, he would quickly be given a license by CoR and he would equally get to work. Earning his legendary status by not only defeating a Yellow-Blooded Prince of Dreaded Carcosa that had been summoned within the city, but also having slayed the largest Leviathan ever recorded at the southernmost harbor of Atlantropa. He built an impressive legacy for himself. Upholding the honor of the Knights of the Crown of Thorns, a knightly order from his homeland of Northern Italia which can trace its origins back to the Grand Crusades.

Vayner is now partially retired, spending his days in his chateau and impressively large garden, which sticks out of place in the urban environment of the 12th ring of the Floating city; it would perhaps have fit better up in the 6th and above rings with their more fancy old world looks. Occasionally going out to do cases, or helping CoR with internal issues or application reviews.

Manticore 

Age: Unknown Residential area: 6th Ring

Rayleonard the Cleaver, a high level fixer, backed by the Lambert Trust Corporation ( LTC a Corporation that specializes in kitchen appliances, deep sea boring equipment, and bio-fuel development). He is a well known crow, one that is nearly at the rank of a true bonafide legend. He is a Cyborg, much like Bastille, that has been operating for decades now, for the longest time he would only take jobs cleared by LTC, yet recently he has begun to take a variety of known non-approved jobs, seemingly out of his own will. As far as one can tell, Rayleonard is entirely mute, seemingly letting his work and weapons communicate for him. 

Little is known about Rayleonard, he doesn't interact with other fixers, and he has never taken a cooperative job in his long tenure at CoR. Even the higher ups aren't too sure about his origins, having received all their information from LTC from the very beginning. It is widely accepted that he most likely doesn't see any of the money earned from his jobs, as it seems to just go to an account managed by LTC, who provide Rayleonard anything he needs already. Due to his long history in the business he has clashed with other fixers, even legends, most notably being bested by a single shot from Peyton's lucky seventh bullet. 

A Clover Leaf

Age: 30 Residential area: 12th Ring

Fern Clover, a respectable low-mid ranked Fixer from operating under the watchful eye of the CoR (Conspiracy of Ravens) north district sub division 23, Fern had been on the grindstone ever since she was officially licensed by the association. Taking any job she can, everyday for years, she hasn't taken a break. She is described by her fellow fixers as abrasive at worst, indifferent at best, as such very few willing to cooperate with her on cases, despite her excellent track record. 

She is perpetually broke, to many she may seem either incredibly stingy or nonchalant about money, but the truth is that nearly every single dollar goes to paying back the loan for her sister's medical treatment that she received in America. A full ABC (Artificial Body Core) transplant, a procedure that removes the brain and spinal cord of an individual afflicted by a rare Cognition Disease that slowly consumes the body starting from the extremities, and places it in an artificial body known as a core, this core is created by advance methods that replicate the entire body nearly flawlessly, the only tell tall signs being the absence of a navel and some manufacturing seams. The ABC is capable of aging normally and functioning nearly indistinguishably to a normal body, the major issue is the price, one that Fern will be paying until the day she dies and perhaps even after. Yet to Fern it doesn't matter, as long as her sister gets to live a full life, no price is too great.

Oathbreaker

Age: 37 Residential area: 10th Ring

Zachary Davis, a mid-high ranking fixer, formerly a member Cryptech industries kill team, he was let go of his contract by the corporation with heavy penalties, for one he lost his pension, his Healthcare plan, and his residency in Cryptech's private residential area or in other words he is no longer welcomed at that Corporate Nest. Why did he do this? Apparently he was tired of the corporate world, with all its strings attached he felt suffocated, his life might have been more materially secure then the vast majority of people in the world, but it was hollow. 

He has climbed up the ranks of CoR, through his consistent work ethic and professionalism, he might have left the Corpo world, but the Corpo hasn't left how he acts. He hardly ever mentions his past, not only because he doesn't care for it much, but most likely he is still under a strict non-disclosure agreement. 

The Crow of the Hangman

Age: 36 Residential area: 12th Ring

Huginn the Crow, a high ranking fixer, whose nickname shouldn't be mistaken for the derogatory title of a Crow, for she is not that. Huginn is a respected member of CoR, noted for being a tad bit eccentric and odd at times, but her track record is impressive. She is one of those considered the edge of becoming a legend. Perhaps if she would take her jobs more seriously she would have already reached this rank.

Huginn is a prolific Cognition user, capable of vanishing into shadows and appearing out of any dark corner, armed with a wicked clawed gauntlet she enjoys terrorizing her targets first, be it human or aberration. Rumors do make the rounds that she is part of some strange mystery cult that is attempting to pull the strings of the Floating City in the background. Although this could simply be her making gossip about herself, something that she has done in the past.

The Basilisk

Age: 89 Residential area: 6th Ring

Bastille the Basilisk, a legendary fixer and a crow, backed by Sanada Heavy Industries(a corporation that manufactures heavy machinery, automobiles, all the way to flat screen TVs, they have recently branched out into developing more consumer friendly cybernetics.) Bastille is a fully converted Cyborg, with only his brain and spine remaining under the heavy armor. He was the first to volunteer for the Basilisk program, Sanada augmented him and sent him out to operate as a fixer, giving them some degrees of separation from whatever actions he might commit. 

Bastille earned his rank within the CoR by clearing out several monstrous aberrations and by hunting down vultures, which brought him to butt heads several times with Epsilon. Although he never managed to beat Epsilon, he unlike his rival is still fully active, frequently taking up cases. He would be defeated by not just his fellow legend ranked fixer Blackstar, but also shortly after that by a low level fixer named Roland. Bastille refuses to acknowledge his defeat at the hands of Roland, claiming he only won through a cheap shot.which to be fair, Roland did shoot him in the back of the head well he was distracted trying to kill Blackstar.

King of the Forest 

Age: 40 Residential area: 6th Ring

Oberon, a corporate back fixer that achieved the rank of legend. He would be the leader of the White Grail office, an office backed by the Double You Corporation. White Grail would conduct various high stakes cases, earning them a reputation for completing any case regardless of how unsavory or dangerous it was. Oberon and his office would develop a ruthless reputation, with them and Oberon being extremely blood thirsty.

Oberon would be exposed as a serial killer, one that would scramble his victims temporal lobe, in his mad pursuit to break their perception of time and memories. According to the head of Double You, Oberon had bore witness to a fragment of a refraction created via the Beta Element residue found near the Daemon Core that powers Atlantropa. A phenomenon that the Corporation has been studying, whatever he saw there shattered his mind. He would be killed by Epsilon, after attempting to flee into the Gulch below the Floating city.

Oberon confessed to Epsilon, what he had seen in the refraction, he saw the truth of who he was, a clone, one of countless thousands, created by Double You as easily replaceable cogs. Double would merely replace him, especially once they figured out that he knew the truth. He had to learn how to forget.

Water bear

Age: 26 Residential area: 12th Ring

Robin Stone, a Mid-low ranking fixer, is more of a part time fixer, as she is among many that pick up the fixer line of work as a means of making some extra pocket change when their main job doesn't cut it by itself. She is apparently a cashier at a local shop in the 12th ring known as the Cage Mart. She has notably succeeded in stopping a mad Cognition user known as Dr. Manus the all seeing, a would be “wizard”, she apparently accidentally took the job, it was a true miracle that she managed to stop him.

According to a civilian witness Dr. Manus just walked into her sword while he was ranting about how powerful he was, he had apparently not noticed that Robin was petrified in fear while raising her sword. She is currently still a member of CoR, but she isn't likely to make much further up the ranks.
