The Grey Army and a Tale from Heaven's Curse (Patreon)

My apologize for this month being so scarce, I hope to get things back on track this month, so let's get to it. With a part of the Grey Army and a small comic thingy.

Seeräuber: Considered barely above the slaves within the Grey Army, everyone that has joined has served as a Seeräuber. Sent to fight above on the decks of the enemy's ships as a distraction for the Seewölfe below, the life expectancy for a Seeräuber is low, but it takes only the completion of three battles to rise above this lowly station, for one be then has proven their merit to the Grey Army. Any found lacking would have perished in the savage battles waged at high sea.

The Disposal Units: Hand picked Seeräuber that are in charge of shooting anyone that doesn’t pour out of the boarding ships. They are treated better than the average Seeräuber, often given various luxuries and better rations that even rival those of the Korsaren, all in return for their service and understanding that they will not rise to the rank of Korsaren. They are despised by lesser Seeräubers, often finding themselves shanked or shot by the end of a raid. 

Graumarines: The professional core of the Grey Army, many of them are hardened veterans from the Rhine armed forces that followed Kaiser Müller. Composed of a mix of several branches, they now operate as the backbone of any operation, often leading the way on raiding operations, via sea or on coastal expeditions. They are well equipped and disciplined, operating in the traditional fashion of the Rhinelan forces. Anyone with prior military experience is taken in by the Graumarines, with only select Korsaren being considered for training. 

Froschmänner: Elite units formed from veterans of the Kriegsmarines that followed Kaiser Müller into exile. They are sent in the shadows, operating with the goals of sabotaging defenses, extracting crucial targets, or following up the Korsaren assault further plunging the knife into the already diminished defenders of the ship. Replenishment is slow for their ranks as very few are able to meet the standards expected of the Froschmänner.

The Grauen Männer: Intelligence agents for the Grey Army, are dispatched from the Vaterlan to numerous nations. Often spending prolonged periods working their way within organizations, feeding vital information back to the Vaterlan. They also serve aboard Grey Army vessels, enforcing the law within them, keeping a scrutinous eye out for any signs of weakness within the Grey Army ranks. They are in charge of interrogating and breaking prisoners, only to indoctrinate them into the ranks of the Grey Army.
