Anzor Wilson

No Vlad is not a Dead Apostle. Just a traditional fictional vampire, although his is a very strong one.

Yes Heracles (Greek) and Hercules (Roman) are two names for the same guy.

So the reason for the Corrupted Grail in the main series, is because during the 3rd Holy Grail War an Avenger class servant by the name of Angra Mainyu (or better know by the Fandom as Angry Mango) was summoned. When he died and was absorbed into the Grail he permanently corrupted it, this was due to his lore as an Anti-hero who was forced to shoulder all the sins of Humanity. So no not every Holy Grail is bad.

As always, no spoliers. I will leave you some info about Karna and Vlad so you have an idea of how powerful they are: Karna is a Demi-God, son of the Sun God and one of the most powerful being in Insdian mythology. As a servant, he has a powerful kit. Here are the things he has showed so far: Mana Burst (Flame) (A Rank): The power to put magical energy into weapons. In Karna's case, blazing flames become magical energy to dwell in the weapon used. Discernment of the Poor (A Rank): Insight to see through the opponent's character and attribute. He will not be deceived by excuses and deceptions from words. Kavacha and Kundala: The armor Karna wears, which is actually integrated in his body. It reduces the power of any attack he receives by 90%. He can fight against Vlad easily cause all the attacks he receives become scratches that can be healed while fighting When facing an attack more powerful than what his armor can safely handle on its own, Karna can cover his body with his Mana Burst (Flame) skill to further augment his defenses, as seen when Vlad got too close to him Karna is a Heroic Spirit on the same caliber as Gilgamesh, the difference between them resides in that Karna is an actual warrior with no hubris, so a hypothetical fight between them can tip to either of them. In fact, in another Fate work, Gilgamesh becomes serious the moment he sees Karna, deeming him a powerful opponent ------------------------------------------------------ Now for Vlad, he is not a Dead Apostle. He would be a Vampire as known in the legends. With all its strenghts and weaknesses. However, he was summoned as a Hero and not a Vampire. Furthermore, as he is in Romania, the land he ruled while alive, he gets a massive power boost from his fame. Raising his parameters by at least 2 ranks Demonic Defender of the State (EX Rank): Capacity of the Servant to mark a region as his personal dominion. He is able to transform Trifas and the surrounding areas into the land he rules over as Lord over a period of two months. Inside this domain, Vlad III acquires a combat bonus comparable to a Berserker's A rank in Mad Enhancement. This allows Vlad III to display some degree of advantage even against top rank Heroic Spirits such as Achilles, who boast worldwide-class fame. Kazikli Bey: Vlad main NP and only usable at full power inside his territory. Within a range of 1 kilometer, a maximum of 20 thousand pikes can gradually manifest over time, bursting from the ground to impale opponents. They can be freely controlled and the sight of the pikes impose a curse-like psychological effect, destabilizing an opponent's mental condition with oppressive anxiety or fear --------------------------------------------------------- It seems you were confused about Achilles. Dont know if you are familiar with his legends. Like the whole Trojan War and Achilles heel? Anyway, as explained in this episode, Achilles mother wanted to make him fully inmortal. But his father prevented this. So, when dosed in the divine flames, only his heel remained out of them. This means that Achilles only true weak spot is his heel. He is invulnerable to majority of attacks. The only thing that can actually hurt him are attacks with divinity. As in, a servant with divinity like Chiron or a servant who carries a divine weapon That inmortality is embodied in his skill Andreias Amarantos: Achilles' entire body, excluding his heel, boasts the blessing of immortality, which negates all attacks. However, Achilles is susceptible to those with Divinity and Divine Constructs. In that case, the damage he receives depends on the rank of the attacker's Divinity, if the rank isn't equal or higher than Achilles', the damage won't go through completely. Should his heel ever be pierced, and injured, Achilles would be severely weakened as his overall grade as a heroic spirit would be lowered. Sealing his speed and some of his NPs

With the Grail, there’s two things to take into account. First is that the Grail can only grant a wish through methods that the person who gains it understands. If you do not know how to grant your wish, it cannot be granted. Second, is that in the main series, (Zero & Stay/Night) during the 3rd war an Avenger called Angra Mainu got summoned, died, and absorbed into the grail, which corrupted. So in the 4th war (Zero) and the 5th war (Stay/Night) the Grail would have killed humanity no matter what the wish was. In this alternate timeline, the 3rd Grail War went differently getting interrupted when the Nazi’s airlifted the Greater Grail out of there, which then got stolen in transport by the Yggdmillenia, and they’ve been plotting since in preparation for this. And here’s the big thing. Because the 3rd War went differently, the Grail *never got corrupted*, meaning it can be wished upon and it won’t kill all of humanity!
