Panda's Adventures (Patreon)

My goal this week is to get the next comic page drawn (if not finished), and at least one distraction is now out of the way - Panda's Adventures.

Panda's Adventures was an early VHS release, imported from Japan and dubbed in English to pad out video store shelves. One of the more interesting aspects to me is that the film was made with a 2.35:1 aspect ratio, and the American distributor didn't feel the need to crop, pan & scan, or letterbox it. They just squeezed the entire image into a 4x3 frame, and called it a day!
