One Thing After Another... (Patreon)

After a stressful summer, capped off by two busy days at the end, I needed last week to decompress after getting back to Florida. And I was so looking forward to having this past weekend all to myself, I sort of overlooked the fact that another hurricane is headed right this way.

Now, I've been through my fair share of hurricanes. Ian was a particularly bad one, a couple of years ago, but we pulled through more or less unscathed, so I'm not too worried about this one. Or at least I wouldn't be, if everyone else in my life would stop freaking out about it.

All weekend, I'd planned on drawing the next comic page this week. It should be a fairly simple one - Violet is frozen, only Alice's facial expressions will change, with Daisy being the one character that shifts from panel to panel. At the moment it's hard to focus on drawing anything though, but at least I've got the page layout and words. A layout, anyway. I feel like having an extra panel in the middle would help with the pacing, but I'm not so sure the text will still fit.
